Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /Technology from a
recognized University or Institution Preferential : Master’s degree in
Engineering / Technology

University or institution. Preferential: NET Qualified / Ph.D.

NOTE:
There shall be no upper age limit in respect of officers already working in
the Central Pollution Control Board for Direct Recruitment to any of the
above posts. Age relaxation to the highly experienced candidates shall be
considered by the Competent Authority on the merit of the case.

Junior Engineer (Civil) : 01 Post (UR) in the PB-2, Rs. 9300-34,800, Grade Pay Rs.
4200/-, Educational Qualification: Essential : Diploma in Civil
engineering from an Institution recognized by the Central / State Govt. or
equivalent. Desirable: One year experience in maintaining the office
buildings / commercial complex, etc. Age Limit: Between 18-25 year.

Junior Engineer ( E &. M ) : 01 Post (UR) in the PB-2, Rs. 9300-34.800. Grade Pay Rs.
4200/-, Educational Qualification: Essential: Diploma in electrical /
Mechanical Engineering from an Institution recognized by the Central/ State
Govt. or equivalent. Desirable: One year experience in maintenance of
electric/ mechanical installations including generators etc. in office
buildings / commercial complex, etc. Age Limit: Between 18-25 year.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE AND OFFLINE CANDIDATES
1. The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application through ON-LINE or OFF-LINE mode. The On-line registration of application is made available on CPCB official website i.e. http://www.cpcb.nic.in. The link for submission of online applications in respect of above said posts along-with other relevant information will be activated on the date of advertisement on Employment News. The last date of online submission of applications will be Thirty Days (30 Days) from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News. No Documents including online application form is required to be sent, however, all the applicants are advised to keep a copy of online application form.
2. Candidates applying offline are required to download application form from CPCB Website and Affix three passport size photographs (one on application and two on Admit card). Prescribed application form along with recent passport size photographs, should reach The Sr. Administrative Officer, Central Pollution Control Board, “Parivesh Bhawan”, East Arjun Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi-110032 within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The name of the post must be superscribed on the envelope.
3. The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their
eligibility for the post applied for. They must be fulfilling eligibility criteria as on the closing date of applications failing which their application will be rejected.
4. The On-line application will be closed on Thirty Days (30 Days) from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News. The candidature of such applicants who fails to complete the online application submission by the stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
5. In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she is required to fill in the form separately through On-line or Off-line mode only.
6. The Candidate must ensure that their photo should be clearly visible in preview at the time of filling of application in online mode. If photo image is displayed small or not visible in preview on website, that means photo is not as per the CPCB prescribed and in that case, your application will be rejected. So, be careful while uploading your photo. Photo must be visible clearly on Online Application form.
7. Candidates applying under any of the reserved category viz. SC/OBC will be considered subject to
submission of Caste certificate on a prescribed format issued by the competent authority at the time of Interview. Community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate.
8. OBC candidate’s eligibility will be based on Castes borne in the Central List of Govt. of India. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. Their Sub-caste should match with the entries in Central List of OBC, failing which their candidature will not be considered under any of the applied reserved category and will be treated as UR.
9. Physical Disability Certificate should be issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board.
10. The applicants already in Government service shall have to produce Relieving Certificate from their
present employer before joining the Institute.
1 l. A candidate must be Citizen of India, or a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been
issued by the Government of India.
12. The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from the candidates in India.
13. The upper age limit for SC/OBC/Persons with Disability/ Ex-Serviceman etc. shall be as per the Government of India Rules.
14. Those who are in employment must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from the employer at the time of Interview. Government employees are required to apply through proper channel

OTHER INFORMATION FOR THE CANDIDATES
(i) CPCB reserves the rights to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
(ii) Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.
(iii) The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
(iv) In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by the appointing authority.
(v) The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.
(vi) The decision of the competent authority regarding conduct of examination, interview, verification of documents and selection would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
(vii) All disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of Court of Law at New Delhi.
