Walk-in-Interview

Disaster Management Institute, Bhopal is one of the reputed Institutes of the nation for training, awareness, consultancy, certification, policy advocacy in the area of disaster management. Institute has worked across the country for public sectors industries (PSUs), Reserve Bank of India, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Petroleum and National Gas Regulatory Board, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Ministry of Home Affairs, Central Pollution Control Board and for the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Applications are invited for engagement on contract for the posts of Technical Experts (04), Multi Tasking Support Staff (02) and Training Assistant (01). The interested candidates may submit their detailed resume/profile in prescribed format available on our website. Candidates should bring the original documents, two photos and one set of photocopies of all documents for walk-in-interview. Initially the contract is for eleven months which is subject to extension on the basis of performance with

1. Technical Expert (Policy and Coordination)- Post -01,

• Essential Qualification- Graduate Engineers.
• Job Profile: Establish coordination with various state departments and district administration for development of policy related issues in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
• Desirable: Working experience in the public undertaking or govt institutions with proven record of coordination and policy interface. Post graduation candidate shall be preferred.
• Monthly fixed emoluments : Rs. 30,000/-.
• Date of Interview : 05 January , 2016.

2. Technical Expert (Documentation) - Post -01,

• Essential Qualification- Post graduation with Ph.D. with skill of speaking,editing, reporting and writing both in English and in Hindi of training and awareness material.
• Job Profile: Writing/editing the training/awareness material for training programmes on disaster management in Hindi and English. Documentation of training programmes both in paper and digital format.
• Desirable: Working experience of documentation or of preparation of training material and conduct of training programmes.
• Monthly fixed emoluments : Rs. 30,000/-.
• Date of Interview: 06 January, 2016

3. Technical Expert ( Earth Sciences) -Post -01,

• Essential Qualification- B. Tech/ B. E. in Civil Engineering / M.Sc. in Geology.
• Job Profile: Conduct of training programmes on earthquake, flood, building retrofitting, etc.. Support in landslides, dam disaster management projects, etc. 
• Desirable: Working experience in the field of environment / disaster management with proficiency in Computer Applications especially with GIS, remote sensing data interpretation, dam breach, etc. Post graduate candidate shall be preferred.
• Monthly fixed emoluments : Rs. 30,000/-.
• Date of Interview: 12 January, 2016.

4. Technical Expert (Training & Awareness )- Post -01,

• Essential Qualification- B. Tech/ B.E. in Chemical / Fire/ Petroleum Engineering/ Post Graduate in Chemistry / Biological Sciences / Social sciences/ degree or diploma in Disaster Management. 
• Job Profile: Conduct and coordination of training / Awareness programmes on disaster management to various officers of state/district level government departments at state and divisional/district/tehsil level headquarter of MP State.
• Desirable: Working experience in the field of environment / disaster management / training / coordination with proficiency in Computer Applications.
• Monthly fixed emoluments : Rs. 30,000/-
• Date of Interview: 13 January, 2016. 

5. Technical Expert (Fire)- Post -01,

• Essential Qualification- B. Tech /B.E. in Fire Engineering.
• Job Profile: Assist in studies of fire fighting and assessment, conduct of training programmes and assist in consultancy and certification work.
• Desirable: Working experience in the public undertaking or govt institutions with proven record of fire related work.
• Monthly fixed emoluments : Rs. 30,000/-.
• Date of Interview: 18 January, 2016.

6. Training Assistant - Post -01,

• Essential Qualification – Science Graduate with M.C.A. / B.C.A.
• Job Profile: Assist and coordinate with training coordinators and trainee departments for conduct of training programmes. Assist documentation officer in documenting the training programmes digitally also.
• Desirable: Working experience in the field of disaster management
• Monthly fixed emoluments : Rs. 20,000/-.
• Date of Interview: 19 January, 2016

7. Multi Tasking Support Staff (MTSS): Post -02,

• Essential Qualification - Graduate in any discipline (except engineering & MBA). Hindi or English Typing Passed from recognized government institutions.
• Job Profile: Assist in typing in Hindi and English Training material alongwith the processing of bills to clients and taxation. Assist in training, consultancy and certification projects. Travelling is expected with senior officers for training and consultancy. Time to time as personal assistant to senior officers also.
• Desirable: Working experience of both Hindi and English Typing along with other office work like accounting, taxation and working experience in the field of disaster management.
• Monthly fixed emoluments : Rs.18,000/-.
• Date of Interview: 20 January, 2016 

Note :

1. Candidates must bring filled in prescribed proforma (typed) along with their all original certificates as well as one set of self attested photocopies.

2. No Candidates will be allowed to appear in the interview if they report after 11:30 A.M.

3. No TA / DA shall be payable for walk-in-interview. The institute reserves the right cancellation of walk in interviews.

4. Institute has right to cancel interview or change the date of interview without assigning any reason.

5. Institute has right not to fill the posts without assigning the reason.
