Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of “Junior Research Fellow” under the following research project funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

Title of the Research Project: Developing Small Molecule Modulators of Signal Recognition Particle Function

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (01 No.)

Qualification & Experience:

• M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (preferably with a specialization in organic chemistry) from a recognized University/Institute and having minimum 60% Marks or CGPA of 7.5 on a scale of 10. Previous experience in organic synthesis is desired. 
• Candidates must have qualified CSIR/UGC JRF. Exceptional candidates who have qualified GATE with a rank of 500 or better may also be considered.

Age Limit: Preferably below 30 years of age.

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + HRA.

Duration: 6 months (Can be extended to up to 1 year subject to satisfactory performance).

Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA will be paid for attending the same. Photocopies of certificates / mark sheets and other testimonials will be collected at the time of interview.
