National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is implementing Establishment of GIS Server and Creation of Geo-databases in NDMA. The Project is being initiated and implemented by NDMA. NDMA has set up the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) at its office in New Delhi. NDMA invites applications for the positions given in the table below to be engaged on contract basis. The contract will be for a period of one year initially and may be extended with mutual consent based on need and performance for part of the year or maximum for one year at a time or closure of project, whichever is earlier. Educational qualifications & experience required, remuneration offered and details of duties/responsibilities of each position are given below:-

1.	Engineer - GIS Operation (Project Co-ordinator) Rs.50,000/- p.m. (Consolidated) (1 Post)	Master`s Degree in Remote Sensing / Geoinformation /Geography/Geology.	I. 4 years of professional experience in the areas of Database Management, Tool Development, GIS maps, WMS, WFS, Server Maintenance, evaluation of development activities, and GIS Layers. II. Preference shall be given for having working experience in similar or related projects on above-mentioned topics and having experience and expertise in software development, web development, project management and server maintenance.
2.	GIS Executive Rs.30,000/- p.m. (Consolidated) (1 post)	Master`s Degree in Remote Sensing / Geoinformation /Geography/Geology	I. 2 years of experience in Remote Sensing & GIS. II. Strong statistical and programming background and prior experience in processing remotely sensed data. III. Preference will be given for experience in GIS Database Handling. Knowledge of ArcObect Undertaking data analyses and data conversion, Data Verification and validation using internet & other sources. IV. Should have project handling capabilities.
3.	Database Administrator Rs.30,000/- p.m. (Consolidated) (1 post)	B-Tech in Computer Science /IT or MSc Computer Science / IT	I. The Specialist selected will need to demonstrate experience and expertise in the areas of (a) Database creation (b)Database maintenance (c)PostSQL/PostGRE/Post GIS; (d) A reasonable knowledge / proficiency to deal with spatial data and GIS maps. II. Minimum 2 years in above-mentioned areas. III. Preference shall be given for having familiarity with the RDBMS/DBMS and experience in spatial maps maintenance and GIS layers.
4.	Data Entry Operator Rs.20,000/- p.m. (Consolidated) (2 Posts)	12th Pass in Arts / Science /Commerce. (Higher education will be preferred)	I. To compile and present data received from field area, basic data analysis, assistance in capturing information and report preparation for programme monitoring. Also maintaing all records and reports relevant to the programme. II. Minimum 2 years of work experience in Data Entry work. III. Knowledge of computer software (M.S Office/ GIS etc.). Good speed in English data entry.

General Conditions:
