Applications are invited from Indian Citizen for the following posts in Pay Band of Rs. (Pay Band + Grade Pay) plus other allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees.

  1. For Fireman Group ‘C’ (Male) : Pay Band – I (5200- 20200) Grade Pay- 1900/- As admissible to Central Government Employees
  2. For Tradesman Mate Group ‘C’ (Male) : 04Pay Band – I (5200- 20200) Grade Pay- 1800/- As admissible to Central Government Employees
Educational Qualification :
  1. Fireman Group ‘C’ (Male) : Matriculation or equivalent from the recognized university/ board
  2. Tradesman Mate Group ‘C’ (Male) : Matriculation or equivalent from the recognized university/ board
Physical endurance test/skill test (whichever applicable) 
  1. Fireman Group ‘C’ (Male) : Mentioned below @
  2. Tradesman Mate Group ‘C’ (Male) : (a) 1.5 KM run in 6 Mins (b) Carrying a weight 50 Kgs to a distance of 200 Mtr in 100 Sec
@ Physical Endurance Test / skill Test (whichever applicable) : Fireman 

Physical Measurements (Qualifying)
  • (a) Height without shoes - 165 Cms (concession of 2.5 Cms shall be allowed for members of Schedule Tribes)
  • (b) Chest (un expended) - 81.5 Cms
  • (c) Chest (Expended) - 85 Cms
  • (d) Weight - 50 Kgs
Physical Endurance Test
  • (a) Run 1.6 Km in 6 Min
  • (b) Carrying a man of 63.5 Kgs to a distance of 183 Meters within 96 Seconds.
  • (c) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump)
  • (d) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet. 
2. The above posts are subject to all India Service liability including field service.

3. Age limit and its relaxation

How to Apply :

Candidates will forward applications properly sealed, in an envelope to the address mentioned against the post applied for Tradesman Mate / Fireman, through ordinary post/Registered post/Speed post. Application in person will not be accepted. Candidate are requested to superscribe the words “ APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TRADESMAN MATE (UR/OBC/ST) / FIREMAN “ (whichever is applicable) on the top of envelope while sending the application form. 

5. Last date for receipt of applications is 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.

6. The crucial date for determining the age limit for all shall be the closing date for receipt of application i.e. 21 days from last date of publication in Employment News. 

7. The photocopy of the following documents/certificates to be attached alongwith applications duly self attested :- 

(a) Two passport size photographs duly self attested, one on right corner of applications and one on Acknowledgement card.

(b) Attested copies of following certificates will also be submitted with applications :-
  • (i) Education qualification certificate
  • (ii) Date of Birth Certificate
  • (iii) Caste certificate
(c) Self addressed envelope affixing postal stamps of Rs 25/- for dispatch of ack cards.

Note :- Central Government Civilian Employees must furnish “ No Objection Certificate “ from their employer/office at the time of the interview else their candidature will be cancelled.

8. Incomplete / ineligible applications will be deemed invalid and rejected without intimation to the candidate. Only the eligible candidates will be called for the written examination.

9. It is made clear that merely fulfilling the basic essential qualification requirements does not automatically entitle a person to be called for written test. The selection will be made strictly on the merit basis. The decision of appointing authority regarding selection / rejection will be final. It is also made clear that the numbers of posts/vacancies are tentative and recruitment process can be cancelled/suspended/terminated by the Appointing Authority at any stage, due to administrative reasons. 

10. The question papers of written test (objective type) will be in bilingual i.e. English & Hindi as under :-

11. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidates. No enquiry or correspondence will be entertained.

12. No TA/DA is admissible. Duration of each test can be 02 to 05 days or more. Candidates will make their own arrangements for lodging / boarding during the test.

13. Own Risk. Candidates will appear for physical test/endurance test at their own risk. Any injury/ accident if sustained by the candidates during test, authorities will not be responsible to pay any compensation.

14. Probation Period. The selected candidates will be on probation period for two years. The appointment of the selected candidates will be made on the satisfactory report from concerned civil authority on verification of character and antecedent/education certificates with date of birth/caste certificate and medical fitness examination.
