Written applications duly filled in prescribed format available in our official website are invited from the intending candidates to fill up the following Group-C vacancies in the Judgeship of Jajpur. Vacancies in the respective groups & categories are likely to increase or decrease as per the discretion of the District Recruitment Committee. 

Vacancy Details: District Judge, Jajpur Recruitment for Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist & Junior Typist

Total No. of Posts: 9

Name of the Post:
1. Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist - UR-1, SC-1, ST-1, SEBC-1 Total - 6
2. Junior Typist - SC-1, ST-2 Total-3
(Out of the above, 33% of total posts in each category is reserved for woman candidates)

Age Limit: All the candidates must be over 18 years and below 32 years of age on the last date fixed for receipt of application (Provided that the upper age limit in respect of reserved categories of candidates shall be relaxed in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Acts, Rules, Orders or Instructions for the time being in force).

Educational Qualification: 

(i) Must have passed at least +2 examination conducted by the council constituted under Section 3 of the Orissa Higher Secondary Education Act, 1982 or its equivalent examination from a recognized council/Board or University, as the case may be. 

(ii) Must have passed at least Diploma in Computer Application from a Govt. recognized institute.Matriculation and full time regular ITI in respective field from Govt. Recognized Institute

(iii) For the post of Junior Typist the candidate must be having knowledge in Typewriting with a speed of 40 words per minute in English. 

(iv) The candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed either the Middle School standard language test in Odia conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or the Matriculation (Class-X/10th standard) Examination with ‘Odia’ as a subject.

Pay Scale & Grade: Rs.5,200/-20,200/- with grade pay of Rs.1900/-

FEES FOR EXAMINATION. The candidates are required to deposit fees of Rs.100/-(one hundred)

only in shape of Treasury Challan under the Head “0070-Other Administrative Services-01- Administration of Justice-501-Services and Services fees-9904650-Law Department-9916730-Examination fees for Recruitment conducted by Orissa District and Subordinate Courts” along with their application forms. The SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of the Examination

fees.

Duration of Training:  1(One ) year. The training period can be extended by the Corporation at the discretion in case the trainee does not attain the prescribed level of efficiency as assessed through periodical appraisals.

Selection Process:

Only Successful candidates in the Part-I examinations shall be called for the test of Computer Science (Practical) and the candidates qualified in the said practical test shall be eligible for Viva-Voce.

The candidates who would appear for the type test shall bring their own type-writer machine.

No travelling allowance is admissible to the candidate.

Date of examination shall be intimated to the eligible candidates in due

time. 

How to Apply: The candidates are required to submit their application being duly filled in and signed by their own hands furnishing the required particulars as per the format given. The candidates who are in Government Service or public undertakings are required to apply through proper channel.
