REQUIREMENT

Online Applications are invited from the citizens of India for recruitment on the posts of Review Officers and Assistant Review officers in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretariat. The candidate must possess minimum requisite educational qualification and experience for being selected against the vacancies as prescribed in the relevant rules for each post. These posts are being filled up under the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretariat (recruitment and condition of service) Rules, 1974. The candidate is required to submit only one application form for single or both the posts with prescribed examination fees. 

Vacancy Details Legislative Assembly Secretariat 

(1)    Name of the Post Review Officer 

Total No. of Posts : 40
Age Limit : Minimum 21 year maximum 40 year
Educational Qualification : A Bachelor's degree or Equivalent of any University established by law in India. 
Pay Scale : PB-2 ( 9300-34800) Grade Pay: Rs. 4800/-

(2)    Name of the Post Assistant Review Officer 

Total No. of Posts : 50
Age Limit : Minimum 21 year maximum 40 year 
Educational Qualification : (I) A Bachelor's degree of any University established by law in India or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. (II) 'O' Level certificate from DOEACC / Diploma in Computer Science / Equivalent Degree or Certificate (III) Must have a minimum speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi Computer typing. Preferential:- All things being equal the candidate who knows English Typing shall be given preference.
Pay Scale : PB-2 ( 9300-34800) Grade Pay: Rs. 4600/-




Examination Fees :

  • General (Unreserved) : Examination Fees Rs. 500+
  • Other Backward Class : bank transaction charges as applicable
  • Scheduled Caste of U. P. : Examination Fees Rs. 300+
  • Scheduled Tribe of U. P. : bank transaction charges as applicable

Selection Process : Common Computer based test will be held for Review Officers and Assistant Review Officers comprising of 100 objective type questions to be held at various districts.
A computer based typing test (Hindi and English) will also be held for the vacancies of Assistant Review Officers. For the vacancies of Assistant Review Officers only those candidates will be considered who have qualified the computer based typing test.
A composite merit list will be prepared for Review Officers and Assistant Review Officers on the basis of marks obtained in Computer Based Test(CBT Test). 10 candidates against each vacancy category wise shall be invited for interview which will be held at Vidhan Bhawan Lucknow. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of result in Computer Based Test and performance in interview.
Candidates higher in merit will be selected against the vacancies of Review Officers. 



How to Apply : A candidate will have to apply on-line only through the link available on the website www.uplegassembly.nic.in. Candidates must go through the instructions mentioned below before filling up the on-line application form and also the General Instructions uploaded along with advertisement.
To avoid any kind of inconvenience or last minute rush or unforeseen difficulties, candidates are advised to submit on -line application without waiting for the last date.
The candidates will take print out of filled Page and keep a print-out of the same for future reference. He/she shall be required to produce the print-out of the application form with attested copies of documents in support of qualification and claim to caste categories etc. at the time of Test or as and when asked. No request for withdrawal of candidature after submission of on-line application form will be entertained under any circumstances.


Examination Centres : List of Examination Cities where the Examination will be conducted is given below. Candidates are required to give FIVE DIFFERENT OPTIONS in order of their preference. While every effort will be made to allot a Centre in one of the places opted by the candidate, the Selection Committee reserves its discretion to allot a Centre other than that of Candidate’s choice anywhere in following notified cities of Uttar Pradesh. Under no circumstances, the Centre once allotted shall be changed. 
In case the number of candidates in any of the notified City is very less for running the Examination Centre, the examination may not be conducted in that City and the Candidate who opted for that city as 1st Choice may be allotted Examination Centers in other city opted.
