Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill-up below mentioned 520 vacancies of Constables in Chandigarh Police in the pay scale of Rs. 10300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 3200 plus allowances sanctioned by the Chandigarh Administration from time to time. However in terms of Punjab government Notification No. 7/204/2012-4FPl/60 dated 15.01.2015, adopted by Chandigarh Administration vide No. 28/70-lH(7)-2015/14387 dated 10.07.2015, during probation period ”Fixed Monthly Emoluments” equivalent to the minimum of the pay band of the post will be paid and grade pay, increment or any other allowances, except travelling allowance, will not be paid:-

• 18-25 years (General Category) (01.01.1990 to 31 .12.1996)*
• 18-28 years (OBC Category) (01.01.1987 to 31 .12.1996)*
• 18-30 years (SC Category) (01.01.1985 to 31.12. 1996)*
  Both days inclusive

Educational Qualification : Hr.Secondary Qualification (10+2 or equivalent)

Driving License : Valid Driving license (Motor Car Motor Cycle) is mandatory for all candidates (including Ex-servicemen) of the concerned licensing Authority. As a one time exception for the purpose of this recruitment only. this condition has been waived by lG/Chandigarh in respect of female candidates only.

Height : 170 cm (Male) 157.5 cm (Female)

Chest : (only for male) 84-88 cm
