Name of the Post: Geophysicist
Pay Scale : Rs.16400- 40500(IDA)
Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate degree in Geophysics from a recognized
university.
Essential Experience –
Minimum 2 years’ experience as on 30.09.2015 in the
following field
- Resistivity Survey & Imaging of groundwater exploration and Aquifer Mapping
- Data Acquisition in field
- Interpretation of Geophysical field data.
Desirable Experience
- Computer based interpretation of data and report writing

Name of the Post: GIS Analyst
Pay Scale : Rs.12600- 32500(IDA)
Age Limit: Maximum Age (As on 30.09.2015) 35 years
Educational Qualification:
B.Sc Degree from a recognized university.
Essential Experience –
Minimum 7 years experience as on 30.09.2015
Desirable Experience-
- Satellite Image (Quick Bird/ World View/ Resourcesat/Cartosat) Interpretation for Base Map and Landuse/Landcover Maping at 1:1000 to 1:10,000 Scale.
- Working knowledge and experience of GIS based integrated database organization, Mapping and Analysis in the following fields:
- Aquifer Mapping for minimum area of 20,000 sq km at 1:10,000 scale
- Cadastral Mapping and updation with High Resolution Satellite Image for minimum of 100 villages
- Sewarage, Drainage & Water Supply network(Minimum of 5 cities)
- Master Planning Project (Minimum of 5 cities)
- Working experience in ArcGIS, AutoCADD Map, Sewer CADD, Water Cadd and Map Info, Erdas Imagine softwares.
