WBSCTE Recruitment for 146 post of Lecturer

WEST BENGAL STATE COUNCIL OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION

Government of West Bengal, Department of Technical Education & Training, West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) has given a notification for the recruitment of Lecturer vacancies in Government Polytechnics on contractual basis. Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 14-12-2015 (Monday) upto 05:00 PM. Other details like age, education qualification, selection process, how to apply are given below:-

1	Architectural Engineering	2	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
2	Automobile Engineering	2	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree  in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class  award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
3	Civil Engineering	16	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
4	Computer Science & Technology	8	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired  Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
5	Electrical Engineering	20	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
6	Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering	6	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
7	Food Processing Technology	4	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Food Processing Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
8	Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering	2	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Institute. If  acquired Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized  University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
9	Chemistry	14	Master's Degree in Chemistry with First Class from a recognized University
10	Humanities	14	Master's Degree in Economics or English or Commerce with First Class from a recognized University
11	Mathematics	15	Master's Degree in Mathematics with First Class from a recognized University
12	Physics	16	Master's Degree in Physics with First Class from a recognized  University
13	Mechanical Engineering	13	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
14	Metallurgical engineering	2	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree in the  said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
15	Printing Technology	2	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Printing Technology from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
16	Survey Engineering	10	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Survey Engineering or in Architecture or Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering with Survey Engineering as elective or compulsory subject (s) from a recognized University or Institute. If acquired Master's Degree in the said subject from a recognized University or Institute, First Class award shall be required either at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree

Age Limit : Candidates age should not be more than 37 years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ ST and OBC candidates as per State Government rules.

Salary : 21000/-pm

Selection Process : Selection will be based on written examination and interview.

How to Apply : Eligible candidates may apply online through website www.webscte.org on or before 14-12-2015 (Monday) upto 05:00 PM and send their hard copy of application along with all relevant documents, testimonials must be submitted in closed envelope mentioning “Application for the post of Lecturer on Contractual basis in the discipline ———” on the top of the envelope to the office of the Joint Secretary, Technical Education and Training Department, Government of West Bengal, Karigori Bhavan, 3rd floor, Plot No. B/7, Action Area – III, New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata – 700 160 on or before 16-12-2015 upto 05:00 PM.
