Howrah District Court Recruitment 2015 - 59 LDC, Group D & Other Posts:- English Department, Office of the District Judge, Howrah has published latest notification for filling up 59 posts of English Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk, Process Server & Group D in the Howrah District Court. Desirous & eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 22/12/2015.

Name of the Post :
- English Stenographer: 09 posts
- Lower Division Clerk: 20 posts
- Process Server (Summons Bailiff): 07 posts
- Group D: 20 posts
- Group D (Sweeper): 03 posts
Age Limit : 18 to 40 years as on 01/01/2015. Relaxation of age limit would be for five years in case of SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates. The upper age limit for physically challenged candidates is 45 year.
Educational Qualification :
English Stenographer : The candidate must have passed Madhyamik or Equivalent examination from any recognized Board and should have a certificate in computer training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation. A minimum speed @ 80 w.p.m in shorthand and a minimum speed @ 30 w.p.m in typewriting from a legible manuscript in English for 10 minutes is required
Lower Division Clerk : Madhyamik or Equivalent examination from any recognized Board and should have knowledge in computer operation.
Process Server (Summons Bailiff) & Group D Posts : The candidate must have passed eighth standard from any school under any recognized Board and should have knowledge in computer operation.
Group D (Sweeper) : The candidate must have passed eighth standard from any school under any recognized Board.
Pay Scale :
- English Stenographer : PB-3 of Rs. 7100-37600/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 3900/-
- Lower Division Clerk : PB-2 of Rs. 5400-25200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2600/-
- Process Server (Summons Bailiff) : PB-2 of Rs. 5400-25200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2300/-
- Group D : PB-2 of Rs. 4900-16200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1700/-
- Group D (Sweeper): PB-2 of Rs. 4900-16200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1700/-
