WBPSC Recruitment 2015 - West Bengal Civil Service Exam 2016:- West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced latest notification for recruitment of Group A, B, C & D post through the West Bengal Civil Service Examination 2016. Desirous & eligible candidates can apply online from 04/12/2015 to 18/12/2015.

GROUP – A

(i) West Bengal Civil Service (Executive):

Pay Scale : (PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.21,000/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(ii) West Bengal Commercial Tax Service :

Pay Scale : (PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.21,000/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(iii) West Bengal Agricultural Income tax Service:

Pay Scale : (PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.21,000/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(iv) West Bengal Excise Service:

Pay Scale : (PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

(i) Joint Block Development Officer :

Pay Scale : (PB-4) Rs.9,000/- to 40,500/- + G.P. Rs. 4,700/-

(ii) Deputy Assistant Director of Consumer Affairs and Fair Business Practices :

Pay Scale : (PB-4) Rs.9,000/- to 40,500/- + G.P. Rs. 4,700/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.14,930/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(iii) West Bengal Junior Social Welfare Service:

(iv) West Bengal Subordinate Land Revenue Service, Grade-I :

(v) Assistant Commercial Tax Officer :

(vi) Assistant Canal Revenue Officer (Irrigation) :

vii) Chief Controller of Correctional Services:

Pay Scale : (PB-4) Rs.9,000/- to 40,500/- + G.P. Rs. 4,400/-

GROUP – D

(i) Inspector of Co-operative Societies :

Pay Scale : (PB-3) Rs.7,100/- to 37,600/- + G.P. Rs. 3,900/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.12,270/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(ii) Panchayat Development Officer under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department :

Pay Scale : (PB-3) Rs.7,100/- to 37,600/- + G.P. Rs. 3,900/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.12,270/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(iii) Rehabilitation Officer under the Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department :

Pay Scale : (PB-3) Rs.7,100/- to 37,600/- + G.P. Rs. 3,900/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.12,270/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

Age Limit :

• For Group A, C, D : Not below 21 years but not more than 32 years.
• For Group B : Not below 20 years but not more than 32 years.

Educational Qualification :  

A degree of a recognized University. Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hill Sub - divisions of Darjeeling District, viz., Darjeeling Sadar, Kalimpong and Kurseong).

Application Fee :  

Candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- (Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment)) through online or offline mode. No fee for SC/ ST/ BC candidates of other states.

Selection Process :

Candidates will be selected based on Examination (Preliminary Examination (Objective type) and Main Examination (Both Objective and Conventional type written) and Medical Examination.
