I. Age Limit : (AS ON date of interview - 33 years

Relaxable for SC/ST candidate upto a maximum period of five years, in the case of OBC candidates upto a maximum period of three years. (ii) In the case of Orthopaedic / Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates upto maximum period of 5 years for General Category, 8 years for OBC category and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates. (iii) 5 years for those who are already appointed as Senior Residents / Tutor / and possessing DM/M.Ch qualification. The age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

ll. APPLICATION FEE:

• UR/Gen & OBC : Rs.1000/-
• SC & ST : Rs. 800/-
  (Physically handicapped (eligible as per eligibility criteria under Govt, of India rules) candidates are exempted from paying the application fees).

III. The fee shall be received in the form of Demand Draft/Drawn in favour of ”Director. AIIMS Patna” payable at Patna. (Application Fee will be received on the day of Interview) - No other more of payment in cash or postal order of Cheque will not be entertained.

Ill. The candidates required to be present ’in person’ along with application form duly filled with supporting documents and original certificates (DOB, MBBS Degree, Registration certificate from MCI/State Medical Council/Marks Sheet(s) / Detailed Mark Card(s) of MBBS, PG degree/Pass certificate, MD/MS/DNB/Ph.D., valid SC/ST/OBC certificate(if applicable) , NOC from the present employer (Applicable for those working in Govt. organization)DBC - Certificate should be valid for Government of India employment.

IV. One Set self attested photocopies of all documents to be submitted at the time of verification. (Photocopying facility at this institute is NOT extended to the applicants of any interview irrespective of the reason whatsoever) 

V. Senior Resident(s) : A postgraduate degree viz. MD /MS in concerned subject from a recognized University/Institute.

Junior Resident (s) : M.B.B.S Degree from a recognized University/Institute. 

Tutor/ Demonstrator: M.B.B.S / for non-medical candidates (in departments where Non-medical candidates are eligible), a recognized post graduate degree in subject concerned.

VI. AIIMS Patna reserves the right to make amendments to the number of posts advertised based on the functional requirements of the institute and to fill or not to fill the posts partially or completely without assigning any reason.
