Educational Qualification : Matriculation / Xth class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt.

Note : Running Distance for Male Candidates will be 1500 Meters and for female Candidates will be 800 Meters
Written Examination:
Written examination will be held in the respective districts. preferably on the same day for all districts. Written examination will be of 80 marks of objective type of 60 minutes duration. It. will include questions on the English & Hindi Languages. General Awareness. Maths &.Science and Reasoning Aptitude. The written examination shall be of l0+2 standard except Mathematics for which standard shall be of Matriculation.
Personality Test:
Personality Test shall consist of 15 marks. Candidates will be called for Personality Test from amongst those who have. qualified. in the ratio of 3 persons for each post. Candidates who possess NCC certificates will be given a weightage of additional 3 marks for NCC(C) Certificate and 2 additional Marks for NCC(B) certificate in Personality Test. A candidate. who has both these certificate. will be given marks only for NCC(C) Certificate (out of above '15 marks for Personality Test).
How to Apply :
Eligible Interested candidates are required to send their completed applications (Prescribed format) will be submitted on or before 15/03/2016 upto 5.00 P.M. in the office of the district Superintendent of Police concerned in H.P. (including Tribal Districts L&S. Kihnaur and tribal area of district Chamba) of which he/she is resident as per record.
