Applications are invited for one JRF position under SCL, Mohali sponsored project. The details are as follows:

Title of the project:

Development of Indigenous DUV Photoresists for 180nm Process Technology at Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL), Mohali : Make in India (funded by SCL Mohali (ISRO))

This is a high profile dynamic project for the development of organic and hybrid organic-inorganic resist materials (both molecular and polymeric) for semiconductor chip fabrication by nanolithography. The research fellow will conduct research at IIT Mandi.

Areas for which we are looking for one JRF:

1. Experienced analytical chemist with knowledge in separating and identifying individual components from a mixture of compounds. Candidates with more than two years of industry experience as analytical chemist will be given preference.

2. Innovative synthetic chemist with capability to scale up in multigrams. Strong instrumentation background in characterization of monomers and polymers is essential. Candidates with more than two years industry experience will be given preference.

The position mentioned above requires the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic group.

The coordinators have the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement.

Duration: 12-36 Months

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. for first two years, and then Rs. 28,000/-p.m. from third year onward (for JRF).

Minimum Qualification: Possessing MSc. or equivalent degree with 55% (or 50% for SC/ST candidates) marks in chemistry/polymer chemistry.Or

M. Tech. in relevant professional courses.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years, (as on 23.02.2016).

Age relaxation: upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically challenged candidates.

JRF may get PhD admission in fulfilling admission criteria of IIT Mandi.
