MPEDA (Marine Products Export Development Authority) has invited applications from skilled and qualified job aspirants for the position of Hindi Stenographer, Junior Stenographer, Junior Hindi Translator, Data Processing Assistant, Senior Clerk and Junior Technical Officer. 1.Junior Technical Officer(Export Promotion)

Essential :Post Graduate Degree with 3 years experience in the field of Fisheries

2. Data Processing Assistant

Essential :

• (1) Master’s Degree in Computer Applications/Information Tech nology/ Computer Science of a recognized University/ Institute; OR B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science / Computer Technology/Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology from a recognized University/ Institute
• (2) Three years experience in Data Processing.

3. Junior Hindi Translator

Essential: Master’s Degree in Hindi with 4 years experience in translation work from Hindi to English and English to Hindi in Government Organizations

Desirable: Diploma in translation work from Hindi to English and English to Hindi.

4. Senior Clerk

Essential: Bachelor Degree with Computer proficiency in Word Processing with a speed of 9,000 Key depression per hour and Spread sheet (Excel) from a recognized Board of Technical Education with 5 years experience in office work.

Desirable: A speed of 30 w.p.m in English Typewriting

5. Junior Stenographer(English)

Essential: 

• a) Bachelor Degree with 100 w.p.m speed in Shorthand (English) from a recognized Board of Technical Education and 
• (b) Computer proficiency in Word Processing with a speed of 12,000 Key depression per hour and Spread sheet(Excel) from a recognized Board of Technical Education 'OR’ 
• (b) Diploma in Commercial Practice with Stenography and Computer proficiency in Word Processing with a speed of 12,000 Key depressions per hour and Spread sheet (Excel) from a recognized Board of Technical Education.

Desirable: A speed of 40 w.p.m. in English Typewriting

Age limit : as on 31 -03-201 6 :28 years

6. Hindi Stenographer

Essential: Bachelor Degree with (a) A speed of 80 w.p.m. in Hindi Shorthand and Computer proficiency in word processing with a speed of 10500 Key depressions per hour in Hindi and Spread sheet(Excel) and (b) 35 w.p.m in Hindi Typewriting.

Desirable: Knowledge of English Stenography and Typewriting with Computer proficiency in word processing and Spread sheet(Excel).

Application fee : 250/- (non-refundable) In the form of Demand Draft drawn In favour of The Secretary, MPEDA‘.’ payable at Ernakulam should be sent along with the print out of online application. No application fee is required In the case of SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen candidates and employees of MPEDA and its Societies. 

Age Relaxation : Age reaxable by 7 years in the case of existing employees of MPEDA and the Societies working under the direct control of MPEDA and applying for the post provided they have the required educational qualification and experience prescribed for direct recruitment.
