Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Ltd., on behalf of its subsidiary companies namely North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. (NBPDCL), South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. (SBPDCL) Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited & Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited invites applications from eligible candidates for appointment on the post of IT MANAGER THROUGH VALID GATE SCORE for Head Offices and Field Offices of the respective companies as per the details given below :-

Note:
i. The post for PHP (Physically Handicapped Person) Candidates will be reserved as per the Govt. of Bihar norms.
ii. The Women reservation in company wise will be comply as per the General Administration, Govt. of Bihar Resolution No.- 963 dt. 20.01.2016 circulated vide letter no.- 2342 dt. 15.02.2016.
iii. The post of Grand Son / Grand Daughter/Maternal Grand Son / Maternal Grand Daughter of freedom fighter will be reserved as per Govt. of Bihar Resolution No.- 13185 dt. 03.09.2015 circulated vide letter no.- 2526 dt. 18.02.2016.
iv. The above posts are exclusively for the respective Company. Once a candidate is selected for a particular company, no request for change of the Company shall be entertained.
v. The allotment of company to the candidates in the Merit List will be on alternate basis amongst the companies.
vi. Female (BC) reserved category includes women candidate of SC, ST, EBC and BC category.
vii. The numbers of posts are subject to change as per requirement of the companies without giving any prior notice.
2.0 Qualification & Eligibility :-

3.0 Remuneration : -
Consolidated Pay Band - Rs. 32,000-51,000 (4% annual increment) for three year probation period starting with consolidated monthly pay Rs. 32000/- (Rs. Thirty Two thousand) only.
After completion of three year of probation period from the date of appointment on consolidated pay, Regular Pay Scale PB-III, Rs. 15600-39100, GP-Rs. 5500 will be admissible, subject to their conduct and performance remaining satisfactory during the probation period.

a. PHP (Physically Handicapped Person) Candidates shall get age relaxation by 10 years additionally in maximum age limit. They will have to produce necessary certificates in this respect.
b. Land losers/ Land displaced persons due to land acquisition by erstwhile Bihar State Electricity Board, shall get relaxation in maximum age limit by 5 years additionally.
c. For claiming relaxations in the Category of land losers/ land displaced persons, the Candidates have to produce certificate from concerned District Magistrate/ Dy. Commissioner, of the following effect to avail the benefit:-
- i. That he is a land displaced person due to land acquisition by the erstwhile Bihar State Electricity Board.
- ii. That his one acre or more land has been acquired for the construction of power plant or any other infrastructure of the Board.
- iii. That no one from his family has benefited in preferential treatment in employment on the basis of land displaced person.
d. For the purpose of calculation of maximum age of all Candidates who are domicile of other States than of Bihar, maximum age mentioned for UR Candidates shall be applicable.
5.0 Probation Period :
The probation period shall be 3 years from the date of appointment. Pay Scale in regular establishment shall be admissible after successful completion of probation period, subject to their conduct and performance remaining satisfactory and their achieving the minimum performance targets/ indicators decided and evaluated by the competent authority during the probation period. If during probation period, the performance is not found satisfactory, the services shall be terminated.
6.0 Reservation :
- a. Reservation will be given in terms of reservation rules and policies as per Govt. of Bihar.
- b. The benefit of reservation is available only to the permanent domiciles of Bihar. The Candidate who claims for reservation benefit will have to submit the application along with the Caste and Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the Competent Authority of his/ her home district in the prescribed Performa of Govt. of Bihar issued not more than a year before. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST are required to submit only caste certificate.
- c. The Candidate who claims for reservation against relatives of Freedom Fighter as per Govt. of Bihar Resolution they have to submit the Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed Performa of Govt. of Bihar.
- d. If a Candidate does not produce valid certificate of caste & creamy layer, Physically Handicapped, Land looser/ Land displaced persons or domicile etc., (as applicable), in original at the time of document's verification, his/ her claim for such reservation benefit will be forfeited and his/ her Candidature will be considered under UR category/ general candidate.
7.0 Application Fee :
a. Application fee is Rs.1,500/- (Rupees One thousand five hundred) only for all categories except SC/ ST of Bihar domicile, for whom it will be Rs.375/- (Rupees Three hundred seventy five) only.
8.0 Mode of Selection :
A combined merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates valid GATE Score and candidate will be selected in category wise as per advertised post.
9.0 How to Apply :
a. The applicants are to apply through "ON LINE" on the Website of www.bsphcl.bih.nic.in. The Website will be open from 11 April to 30 April 2016 upto 11:59 PM. After filling up the ON-LINE application; Candidates have to take a print out of the same.
b. Soft copy of necessary certificates, as specified, shall have to be attached/upload with online application.
11.0 Important Instruction Before Filling On-line Application :-
a. Only Eligible candidates as per Advertisement may fill up the Form.
b. Go to website www.bsphcl.bih.nic.in
c. Click to On-line Application.
d. Registration is mandatory for e-filling up the form. (Valid Email ID and a Mobile Number is necessary for registration).
e. USER ID/ Registration ID will be generated after Registration.
f. Use USER ID and Password (created by the candidates at the time of Registration) to Login and fill the Application form as in following manner :-
- (1) Personal details
- (2) Educational qualification
- (3) FEE (Fee accepted through online or offline)
- (4) Uploading Photo and Signature
Before uploading photo and signature be sure that
- i.Photo size should be less than 50KB. (preferred dimension : 200 X 230px)
- ii.Signature size should be less than 20KB. (preferred dimension : 140 X 60px)
(5) Upload documents (as required) :-
- i. Valid Gate Score
- ii. Matric Certificate for age proof.
- iii. Inter/10+2 Certificate
- iv. Marks sheet of Engineering Degree
- v. Passing certificate of Engineering Degree
- vi. Caste and Creamy Layer Certificate issued by competent authority, if reservation benefit is claimed,
- vii. If PHP Candidates, certificate from competent authority,
- viii. If land loser/ land displaced person certificate issued from District Magistrate/ Dy. Commissioner.
- ix. If claims reservation against relatives of Freedom Fighter as per Govt. of Bihar Resolution, the Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed Performa of Govt. of Bihar
- x. Permanent Domicile of Bihar Certificate, if claim for reservation.
(6) Finalize application form
g. After filling the required fields of application form, verify your entries before submitting finally. NO modification can be made after final submission.
h. Print a copy of finally submitted application form for future reference.
12.0 General Instruction :-
- a. Candidate already employed in Govt./ Semi Govt. organization/ Public sector must mentioned in application format. He/ She will have to submit NOC from his employer when shortlisted for Verification/Joining.
- b. The Candidates will be liable for severe legal action if any false information with respect of name, father's name date of birth, address, educational qualification, percentage of marks, caste certificate, photographs etc. is furnished by him/ her.
- c. No TA/ DA will be paid to the Candidate, if called for documents verification/ Counseling etc.
- d. The BSPHCL reserves right to cancel the selection process at any stage and increase or decrease the nos. of posts to be filled according to the exigencies of the Companies.
- e. Shortlisted Candidates will be called for document verification/ counseling.
- f. Candidates are advised to possess a valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number which is to be entered in the on-line Application form. The e-mail address specified in the application should be valid/ functional for at least 12 months from the date of the submission of application.
13.0 The BSPHCL will not be responsible for any printing mistakes.
