Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), is a Scientific Society of the Department of Information Technology under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. C-DAC has today emerged as a premier R&D organization in ICT&E (Information, Communications Technologies and Electronics) in the country, working on strengthening national technological capabilities in the context of global developments in the field and responding to change in the market need in selected foundation areas. C-DAC represents a unique facet working in close junction with DeitY to implement nation's policy and pragmatic interventions and initiatives in Information Technology. As an institution for high-end Research and Development (R&D), C-DAC has been at the forefront of the Information, Communications Technologies and Electronics (ICT&E) revolution, constantly building capacities in emerging/enabling technologies and innovating and leveraging its expertise, calibre and skill sets to develop and deploy products and solutions for different sectors of the economy

Desirable Domain:
Experience in research / industry / teaching in the area of Electronic packaging.
Skill Set
Strong knowledge in electronic circuits and components, knowledge in multilayer PCB design tools, knowledge in DFT / EMC / EMI Knowledge of Signal Integrity
Job Profile
1. Conduct academic Programs (Formal / Non formal) in the area of Electronics Packaging
2. Course co-ordination of training programs
3. Guide students in electronics and allied discipline
4. Involvement in student projects etc.

Job Profile
1. Candidate should have knowledge in tendering processing, quoting to the clients, follow-ups etc.,
2. To support the technical team by administering information systems and provide all other administration services for the technical department and staff
3. The post holder should therefore have a strong team ethic and have the ability to work autonomously under their own initiative.
4. The post holder should have administrational / Secretarial experience with good communication skills and an aptitude for attention to detail.

Experience in Handling purchase activities which include obtaining quotations from the suppliers, preparation of comparative statement, preparation of Purchase Order, Delivery follow-ups, maintenance of registers, files etc.

Note: Above mentioned positions are purely on contract basis for consolidated pay for a fixed duration and against approved projects.

Candidates presently working in a Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body funded by Government are required to bring a “No Objection Certificate” from your present employer at the time of interview.

Age Relaxation
  • Applicants belonging to the reserved category SC / ST / OBC / Physically challenged / Ex-servicemen would be eligible for Relaxation according to the Government of India rules. 
  • Government employees will be eligible for relaxation in age by 5 years including other age relaxations 
  • C-DAC internal candidates also will be eligible for an age relaxation of 5 years including other age relaxations. 
  • The cut-off date for ascertaining the age and experience will be 11-04-2016. 
Qualification
  • All the qualifying qualifications should be regular course(s) from AICTE/UGC approved/recognized University/Deemed University/Institutes. The courses offered by autonomous institutions should be recognized as equivalent to the relevant courses approved/recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/UGC/AICTE. 
  • Wherever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade in a qualifying degree is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by the respective University/Institute. Please also obtain a certificate to this effect from University / Institute, which shall be required at the time of interview.
Experience

Only those experiences which are relevant and acquired after the passing date of the qualifying qualification will be considered. The decision of C-DAC in this regard will be final and binding. 

Screening Criteria

In case of more applications, apart from above mentioned criteria, screening will be done based on relevant skill set, experience and aggregate marks secured in relevant qualifying degree. Screening committee may also evolve and adopt any other criteria(s) to shortlist the candidate. 

General Information

  • Candidates should satisfy themselves and see the eligibility criteria before applying for the post.
  • In case of internal candidates, please note that if selected candidates will have to resign from the services and re-join the post as fresh employees
  • In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of offer of appointment, the organisation reserves the right to withdraw/cancel/modify any communication made to the candidates.
  • C-DAC reserves the right to fill up the post or increase/decrease the number of posts or even to cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reasons thereof.
  • Late submitted applications, incomplete / invalid in any respect stand automatically rejected.
  • Candidates must be in sound bodily health and ready to undergo Pre- Employment Medical Examination as per C-DAC, norms
  • Only Short-listed candidates will be called for written test / interview. Candidates will be informed by email only and no separate communication will be sent. At the time of interview, they should bring original certificates of qualifications and experience and a photocopy of the same. SC/ST/OBC candidates should submit necessary certificates of proof.
  • No TA /DA will be paid for appearing for the written test / interview.
  • Canvassing in any form is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
  • Kindly note that we have not authorized any agent/ agency for representing C-DAC for anything related to recruitment or its processes.
  • All the posts will be filled as per the Recruitment Rules or guidelines of C-DAC.
  • The person selected for contract appointment will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract.
  • The number of unreserved/reserved posts advertised may vary and C-DAC reserves the right not to fill up some or all the posts advertised, if the circumstances so warrant.
