A. Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change - Scientist - 'D' in Level -12,

ONE POST - [SC-01]
(i) Post No. 1 / MoEF -lSC-01l
Essential Educational Qualification and Experience

Master's Degree in Botany from a Recognized University/Institute with 7 years of working experience in the field of Environmental Pollution Control or Environmental Impact Assessment on Management of Hazardous Substances or Management of Biodiversity or Conservation and Survey.
OR
Doctorate in. Botany with 4 years working experience in the field of Environment Pollution Control or Environmental Impact Assessment or Management of Hazardous Substances or Management of Biodiversity or Conservation and Survey.

B. Ministg of Environment, Forest & Climate Change '- Scientist - 'C' in Level ~11,
Rs. 67700- 208700 of Pay Matrix of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules. 2016 [Pay Band - 3 Rs.15,600-39,'100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- (Pro-revised)

Essential Educational Qualification and Experience

Master's Degree in Zoology from a Recognized University/Institute with 3 years of working experience in the field of Environmental Pollution Control or Environmental Impact Assessment or Management of Hazardous Substances or Management of Biodiversity or Conservation and Survey.
OR
Doctorate in Zoology
(ii) Post No.3 / MoEF- [ST-01]
Essential Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a Recognized University/Institute with 3 years of working experience in the field of Environmental Pollution Control or Environmental Impact Assessment or Management of Hazardous Substances or Management of Bio-diversity or Conservation and Survey.
OR
Doctorate in Civil Engineering.

Duties and Job Reguirements for Post No. OIIMQEF , 02/MoEF and 03/MoEF.

(i) Policy planning and coordination for environmental protection.
(ii) Impact Assessment techniques for implementation of the environmental protection.
(iii)Pollution control techniques and pollution control data assessment and interpretation for developing new techniques.
(iv) Developing of safety procedures. for hazardous substances management.
(v) Eco-regeneration, assistance to organizations implementing environmental and forestry research, extension, education and training to augment the requisite manpower, dissemination and creation of environmental awareness among all sectors of the country‘s population.

Essential Educational Qualification and Experience

1. Master‘s degree in Botany or Zoology or Geology or Bio-Science or Life Science or Environmental
Science or Wildlife Biology: and
2. Either
(i) Diploma or certificate course in Museology of a duration of not. less than one year: or
(ii) Two years' experience of working in a State/National Museum, preferably in Natural History Sections:
3. 11 years of experience in Museum field excluding the essential experience as mentioned at 2 (ii) above.

Desirable
At least five years of administrative experience of managing a Museum of state/national level.

Duties and Job Reguirements for Post No. 4 / NMNH

1. Head of the Department of the NMNH Headquarter and its Regional Museums.
2. To plan, develop and manage NMNH Headquarter and its Regional Museums in different regions of the country.
3. To provide professional guidance to all staff related to the management of NMNH Headquarter and its Regional Museums such as collection, conservation, documentation, research,_exhibition and, education of the tangible and intangible natural heritage of the country.
4. To coordinate with the MoEF&CC in respect of matters concerning mandate of NMNH.

Essential Educational Qualification 
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering from a Recognized University/Institute with 03 years working experience in the field of Environmental Pollution Control or Environmental Impact Assessment of Management of Hazardous Substances or Management of Bio-diversity or Conservation and Survey.
OR
Doctorate in Environmental Engineering.
(v) Post No. 6/MoEF- (UR-01)

Essential Educational Qualification 

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from a Recognized University/Institute with :03 years working experience in the field of Environmental Pollution Control . or Environmental Impact Assessment of Management of Hazardous Substances or Management of Bio-diversity or'Conservation and Survey.
OR 
Doctorate in Chemical Engineering. 

(a) VERY IMPORTANT- ONLY FOR 9051' No. 5/MoEF AND 9051' No. 6/MoEF:
1. Post No. 5/MOEF and Post No. 6/MoEF were earlier advertised as Post No. 08/MoEF and 9/MOEF respectively in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar on 20.02.2016 vide Advertisement. No. 01/15/2015-P.III. The candidates who have already applied against these posts need not to apply afresh, since their applications are being considered against the present respective post.

2. The crucial date for determining the Essential Qualifications, Minimum Experience and Age Limit shall be 04.05.2016 for candidates from Andman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, State/Union Territories in the North Eastern Region, Ladakh division of the Jamm‘u & Kashmir State, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-division of Chamba, Lahaul <5: Spiti Districts of Himachal Pradesh and 19.04.2016 ' for candidates from the rest of India, which was the closing date for receipt of applications in respect of Advertisement No. 01/15/2015-P.III advertised in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar on 
20.02.2016.

3. For Post No.5/MoEF (OBC) reserved for Physically Handicapped (PH), only candidates belonging to the category of Hearing Handicapped need apply.

AGE LIMIT FOR ALL POSTS
The upper age limit for the posts of Scientist ‘C’ is 35 years, for Scientist 'D' is 40 years and for Director, NMNH /Scientist ‘E' is 45 years. The Age limit is relaxable by five (05) years for Government Servants. For SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped and Ex-servicemen, age limit is relaxable as per rules. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date‘for receipt of applications from candidates in India (and not the closing date prescribed for those from abroad and for those in Assam, Megahalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh division of the Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub-division Of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Andman Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep).

CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS

The last date of receipt of applications IS 45 clays from the date of publication of this Advertisement in the Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar (60 days for those in the Andman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, State/Union Territories in the North Eastern Region, Ladakh division of the Jammu & Kashmir State, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-division of Chamba, Lahaul & Spiti Districts of Himachal Pradesh).
