The project assistant keeps all information about the project, working groups, employees, time sheet and other information collected about the project. A project Assistant is a web tool designed in software change management process. A proposal, Scheme or design is created by superior and manage by the Project Assistant.
National Institute of Technology Uttrakhand has released notification for the recruitment of Project Assistant Posts. Eligible & Interested candidates apply before the last date. Further detail of the recruitment is given below.

Pay Scale:
  • Candidates get Rs.10,000/- monthly (Consolidated).
Qualification:
  • Candidates must have Sc degree in Organic Chemistry from a recognized university with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (for both B.Sc and M.Sc) can apply. Preference will be given to GATE/NET qualified candidate, but it is not mandatory.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand is one among the ten newly sanctioned NITs in 2009 by Government of India under the 11th five year plan. The Institute is fully funded by Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Presently, NIT Uttarakhand is carrying out its activities from its temporary campus at Government Polytechnic, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
Uttrakhand or Uttranchal is situated in the northern part of the country. It is also known as the Devbhumi because of the many Hindu temples and pilgrimage situated in the state. It is covering the area of 53,483 square kilometers, of which 86 percent is mountains and 65 percent forest. According to census 2011 total population of state is 1,00,86,292 crores, out of which 51,37,773 are males and 49,48,519 are females. Literacy rate of the state is 78.82%. It is the second fastest growing state of the country, the per capita income of Uttrakhand is 1,03,000 which is higher than the national average of 74,920 in the financial year 2013. Service sector of Uttrakhand contributes in its economic growth, which includes tourism, information technology, higher education and banking. Dehradun is the capital city of Uttrakhand , which is famous for its beautiful landscapes and slightly milder climate and also one of the highest rain receiving areas of North India. Garhwali and Kumaoni are the official languages of Uttrakhand. The culture of Uttrakhand shows a different pattern, which includes culture of ethnic groups living in the place. Bollywood star Anushka Sharma and Olympic Gold medalist shooter Abhinav Bindra are the famous personalities belongs to the state.
The capital of Uttrakhand, Dehradun is situated in the Garhwal region of the state. It is in the Doon valley which is on the foothills of the Himalayas between the Indian rivers Ganges and Yamuna. The city is famous for its pictersque and slightly milder climate which provide gateway to the surrounding region. The city is one of the highest rain receiving areas of northern India. It is renowned for its natural resources, publishing services and mainly for educational institutions. It hosts Indian military academy.
