PRL, a premier Scientific and Research Institute announces Telescope Operator Traineeships at its Mt Abu InfraRed Observatory (MIRO) at Gurushikhar, Mount Abu, for young, energetic and dynamic candidates for one year as detailed below:‐

Name of the Post : Telescope Operator Traineeships

Total No. of Posts : 03

Salary :  Rs.12000/‐ per month.

Age Limit : : Maximum 26 years as on 30.09.2015; relaxation as per GOI Rules.

Educational Qualification : Diploma in any of the following branches (Electronics & Communications Engg. / Electrical / Information Technology / Computer Engg. / Instrumentation & Control Engg. / Mechanical with 60% or above marks)

Job Requirement : Day to day maintenance related to Telescope Operations, Computers, Wiring, Checking, Testing, Fault Finding, PCB Drawing, helping for Astronomical observations at night at MIRO, Mt. Abu. Any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
