Recruitment of One Junior Project Fellow (JPF) for the Project entitled “A Study of the National Programme for Education of Girls at Elementary Level (NPEGEL) in Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya”

The Department of Gender Studies, NCERT, New Delhi invites applications to recruit One Junior Project Fellow on temporary basis to work on the project mentioned above. The terms and conditions of the fellowship are as below:

Total No. of Posts : 01

Name of the Post : Junior Project Fellow

Age Limit : 40 years as per UGC guidelines (5 years relaxation in the case of SC/ST and female candidates and 3 years of OBC candidates)

Educational Qualification:

Essential

Master’s Degree in any subject preferably in Education/ Social Science/Languages/ Women/ Gender Studies, with at least 55% marks or equivalent for general category ( 50% marks or equivalent for SC/ST/PH) 

Computer literacy : should be able to analyze data on computer and present the data suitably

Desirable :

1. Experience in Data collection & analysis, report/academic writing

2. Fluency in English and Hindi

3. NET qualified from UGC, however, Non NET candidate may also apply 

Value of Fellowship 

Rs. l 6000/- NET

Rs. 1 4000/- Non NET

The interview will be held on 4th January 2016 at 3.00 pm in the Department of Gender Studies. Eligible candidates should send their application and bio-data before hand or bring with them and contact the office in Room No. 1, 5th Floor, Zakir Hussain Khand, NCERT, New Delhi- 110 016 at 2.00 pm. 

Candidates must bring their original certificates (along with photo copy of each certificate) and other related documents at the time of interview.

Note : 

l. Fellowship is purely on temporary basis.

2. Candidates already in job should get their applications forwarded through their employers and /or come with a “No Objection Certificate,

3. The project fellows who have already worked in the Council for 2 years are not eligible.

4. No TA/DA will be paid by NCERT for attending the interview.

5. The selected candidates may be required to join immediately.
