CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT FOR THE POSITION OF ‘SECURITY ADVISOR’

Role of ‘Security Advisor’ is to maintain liaison with external / local authorities including CBI / Central & State Police / Law enforcing Departments in various activities

JOB PROFILE :
  • To liaison with CBI / Central & State Police / Law enforcing departments to assist Bank in Filing FIRs, Lodging complaints, persue cases in and against various Banks, help in recovery department in recovery process including examination of SARFESAI, taking possession of property etc.,
  • To maintain close liaison with the Police for Fire Brigade and other local functionaries, so as to secure their co-operation and co-ordination.
  • To analyse the need of training, of bank’s security staff in area of Security, Safe guarding and liasioning with external Agencies like Police, Fire Dept., CBI etc., including Security Officers deployed in Zones / Regions etc., and accordingly advise the Security In-charge of the Bank.
  • To keep update himself with intelligence data so as to keep himself informed of internal and external developments on matters affecting the security of the bank.
  • To provide strategic inputs in formulating / modifying security policy for the bank in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Government and the RBI from time.
  • To oversee the implementation of Bank’s security policy in its spirit, periodically.
  • To advise the Bank’s top management on Security Matters.

In day to day functioning the “Security Advisor” shall report to the Head / In-charge of Security Functions at Bank’s Corporate Office, Mumbai.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
  • An Ex-IPS Officer, retired from the service on satisfactory completion of tenure either on attaining the age of superannuation, VRS or Resignation and not below the rank of DIG.
  • Must not be above age of 65 years as on date of declaration of vacancy.

TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT :

The contract shall be for a period of -1- year, which may be extended at the discretion of the Bank for Maximum of -3- years. The contract can be terminated at 1 months’ notice on either side or 1 month’s compensation in lieu thereof.

COMPENSATION & OTHER FACILITIES :

Compensation:- An all inclusive annual compensation of Rs. 12.00 Lakhs subject to deduction of taxes as applicable and the same shall be paid on monthly basis equivalent to 1/12th of annual compensation subject to deduction of taxes as applicable.

(The compensation will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate).

Decision regarding Annual incremental variable compensation will be taken by the Bank based on the performance of the Candidate.

LEAVE & WORKING HOURS :

During contractual engagement, the candidate will be eligible to avail the following leave in a calendar year:
  • a) -12- days of Casual Leave
  • b) -12- days of Privilege Leave
  • The appointed candidate shall report at the Bank at the commencement of normal working hours except Sundays and holidays declared under N.I Act.
TRAVEL EXPENSES:

Travelling Expenses / Halting Allowances and eligibility for stay in Hotel while on official duty/ outside Headquarters will be as per Bank’s rules, as applicable to TEG/Scale VI.

SELECTION PROCESS:-

The selection process shall involve short listing / personal interview to assess knowledge and experience of the candidate in the areas of Security, Analytical Ability and Communication Skills.

Based on the eligibility criteria as prescribed above, the candidates shall be short-listed for participation in the selection process. The Bank has the right to reject any application / candidature at any stage without assigning any reasons thereof and the decision of the Bank shall be final.
