Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), is a Scientific Society of the Department of Information Technology under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. Eligibility Criteria:	1st class BE / B Tech / MCA or equivalent degree in relevant discipline OR DOEACC ‘B’ level with at least 1 year of post qualification work experience. OR Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Electronics/IT/Computer Applications or relevant domain with atleast 1 year of post qualification work experience
Desirable Skill Set and Experience:	Knowledge of Linux administration, Networking, Shell Scripting, Network troubleshooting, traffic analysis, Flow Analysis 2 years' experience as System Administrator
Maximum Age	30 years as on last date of advertisement.

Above mentioned position is on consolidated contract for a fixed duration and against approved projects.

Age Relaxation:

• Relaxation upto 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer), 5 years for SC / ST, 10 years for PWD (Persons With Disabilities) candidates and other relaxation in age and concessions applicable as per Government of India rules.
• Government employees will be eligible for relaxation in age by 5 years including other age relaxations.
• C-DAC internal candidates will be eligible for an age relaxation of 5 years including other age relaxations.

Qualification:

• All the qualifying qualifications should be regular course(s) from AICTE/UGC approved/recognized University/Deemed University/Institutes. The courses offered by autonomous institutions should be recognized as equivalent to the relevant courses approved/recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/UGC/AICTE.
• Wherever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade in a qualifying degree is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by the respective University/Institute. Please also obtain a certificate to this effect from University / Institute, which shall be required at the time of interview.

Experience:

Only those experiences which are relevant and acquired after the passing date of the qualifying qualification will be considered. The decision of C-DAC in this regard will be final and binding.

Selection Process:

• Mode of Selection: - Selection processes viz. Written Test/Interview. Management reserves the right to change/modify the selection process at any time, during the process, at its discretion. The decision of the management will be final and binding.
• The qualification and experience prescribed are the minimum requirements and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates entitled to be called for written test/Interview. There will be an initial screening based on the academic and other parameters given in the application and only those screened-in will be considered for further selection process.
• The management reserves the right to increase the minimum eligibility criteria/cut off limits, in the event of the number of applicants more, for any post(s) at its discretion. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic credentials, experience profile, performance in the written test/interview and such other selection processes/parameters, as deemed fit by management.

General Information

• Candidates should satisfy themselves and see the eligibility criteria before applying for the post.
• In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of offer of appointment, the organisation reserves the right to withdraw/cancel/modify any communication made to the candidates.
• Late submitted applications, incomplete / invalid in any respect stand automatically rejected.
• Candidates must be in sound bodily health and ready to undergo Pre-Employment medical examination as per C-DAC, norms.
• Only Short-listed candidates will be called for written test / interview. Candidates will be informed by email only and no separate communication will be sent. At the time of interview, they should bring original certificates of qualifications and experience and a photocopy of the same. SC/ST/OBC candidates should submit necessary certificates of proof.
• No TA /DA will be paid for appearing for the written test / interview.
• C-DAC reserves the right to fill up the post or increase/decrease the number of posts or even to cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reasons thereof.
• Canvassing in any form is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
• In case of internal candidates, please note that the finally selected candidates will have to resign from the services and re-join the post as fresh employees.
