Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a premier R & D organization of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) for carrying out R & D in IT, Electronics and associated areas.
C-DAC, Silchar seeks applications from suitable and interested Indian Citizens for the following position on contract basis in the project titled,"Design and Development of e-Courses in health and medical sciences for virtual teaching" through a walk-in interview on 08-01-2015 at 09:00 am at to NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong-793018, Meghalaya.

How to apply:
Applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Advertisement may appear for a walk-in interview with their latest resume to NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong-793018, Meghalaya, India at 9:00 am on January 8, 2016. The resume must be accompanied with self certified copies of documents in support of their age, educational qualification, experience, salary, caste, disability etc. The candidates should also bring all certificates and testimonials in original for verification.
General Terms & Conditions
Above mentioned position is on consolidated contract for a fixed duration and against approved projects.
Relaxation/ Age Limit
- Applicants belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) / physically challenged/Ex-servicemen would be eligible for relaxations according to the Government of India norms.
- Government employees will be eligible for relaxation in age by 5 years including other age relaxations.
- C-DAC internal candidates also will be eligible for an age relaxation of 5 years including other age relaxations.
- The cut-off date for ascertaining the age and experience will be Dec 31, 2015.
Qualification:
- All the qualifying qualifications should be regular course(s) from AICTE/UGC approved/recognized University/Deemed University/Institutes. The courses offered by autonomous institutions should be recognized as equivalent to the relevant courses approved/recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/UGC/AICTE.
- Wherever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade in a qualifying degree is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by the respective University/Institute. Please also obtain a certificate to this effect from University / Institute, which shall be required at the time of interview.
Experience:
Only those experiences which are relevant and acquired after the passing date of the qualifying qualification will be considered. The decision of C-DAC in this regard will be final and binding.
- Candidates awaiting final year examination results are not eligible to apply. Only Candidates WHO HAVE OBTAINED THEIR DEGREE MAY apply.
- Persons serving in Central/State Government, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings should come with NOC.

Important Note:
- In case of any ambiguity/dispute arises on account of interpretation in version other than English, English version will prevail.
- In case of internal candidates, please note that the finally selected candidates will have to resign from the services and re-join the post as fresh employees on probation.
- C-DAC reserves the right to cancel or introduce any examination/Personal Interview/Other selection process. C-DAC also reserves the right to cancel/restrict/curtail/enlarge the recruitment process and/or the selection process without any notice and without assigning any reasons.
- The above post will be filled as per the Recruitment Rules or guidelines of C-DAC.
- It is the responsibility of the candidates to assess his/her own eligibility for the post for which he/she is applying in accordance with the advertisement. In case, it is detected at any point of time in future during process of selection or even after appointment that candidate was not eligible as per prescribed qualification, experience etc, which could not be detected at the time of selection due to whatever circumstances, his/her candidature/appointment shall be liable to be cancelled/terminated as case may be.
- These posts are transferable to other department.
- Applications of candidates claiming SC / ST / OBC / PWD status will be considered for relaxation, only if self attested copy of latest Caste / Non Creamy Layer / Medical Disability Certificates as the case may be, issued by the Competent Authority is produced at the time of walk in.
- The candidates are responsible for the authenticity of information provided by them. Any wrong information provided will make them automatically disqualified for further consideration of the post at any time during and after screening or at the time of walk in.
- Candidates are required to appear for walk in at their own cost.
- No interim correspondence will be entertained.
- Project work undertaken to fulfill the degree requirement while doing the graduation or post graduation course will not be considered as relevant experience.
- If the University or Board awards Grades in place of %age of marks, the applicants may convert the grades obtained by them to the %age of marks with the formula applicable to the concerned university to check their eligibility as per notified norms.
- The number of vacancies indicated in the notification is tentative. CDAC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts at the time of selection. Further, CDAC also reserves the right NOT to fill any of the posts advertised.
- Canvassing in any form or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post.
