1. Coast Guard Organisation invites applications from willing and eligible candidates for filling up following posts on deputation basis:-

(I) (a) Name of Post : Civilian Staff Officer (Logistics) (General Central Service Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in Pay Band-3, Rs.15600- 39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-.

Officers under the Central Government:-

• (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR
• (ii) With five years service in the Pay Band-3, Rs. 15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- or equivalent after the appointment thereto on regular basis; OR
• (iii) With six years service in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4800/- or equivalent after the appointment thereto on regular basis; OR
• (iv) With seven years service in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/-plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- or equivalent after the appointment thereto on regular basis; AND

(b) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience: -

• (i) Degree of a recognised University;
• (ii) Diploma with Material Management or any Diploma with Material Management as a subject from a recognised university or institute; AND
• (iii) Five years experience in store administration and accounting of store in Govt. Department or Public Sector Undertaking.

(II) (a) Name of Post : Civilian Gazetted Officer (Logistics) (General Central Service Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in Pay Band-2, Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-.

(c) Eligibility

Officers under the Central Government:-

• (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; OR
• (ii) With five years service in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- or equivalent after the appointment thereto on regular basis; AND

(b) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience: -

• (i) Degree of a recognised University;
• (ii) Diploma in Material Management or any Diploma with Material Management as a subject from a recognised university or institute; AND
• (iii) Three years experience in store administration and accounting in a Government Department or Public Sector Undertaking.

(III) (a) Name of Post : Senior Design Officer (General Central Service, Group ''A'', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay scale of Rs. 700-1300 (revised pay as per VI CPC in PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400).

• (A) (i) Holding analogous posts, OR
• (ii) With 03 years' service in posts in the pay scale of Rs. 650-1200 (revised pay in PB-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600); OR
• (iii) With 05 years' service in posts in the pay scale of Rs. 550- 900 (revised pay in PB-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200) or equivalent. AND

(B) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience:-

Essential

• (i) Degree in Naval Architecture from a recognized university or equivalent.
• (ii) Three years professional experience.

Desirable

• (i) Knowledge of warship design and system design.
• (ii) Familiarity with Naval Armaments.
• (iii) Knowledge of Mercantile Marine Acts and IMCO Regulations.

(IV) (a) Name of Post : Junior Design Officer (General Central Service, Group ''B'', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay scale of Rs. 650-1200 (revised pay in PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600).

(b) No. and Place of Posting: (03)* , New Delhi (02) & Mumbai (01)

(c) Eligibility

Officers under the Central Government:-

• (A)(i) Holding analogous posts; OR
• (ii) With three years' service in posts in the scale of Rs. 550-750/ 900(revised pay in PB-2,Rs. 9300–34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200) or equivalent; AND

(B) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience:

Essential

• (i) Degree in Mechanical / Marine /Electrical / Tele Communication Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
• (ii) Two years professional experience.

Desirable

• (i) Practical experience in a warship design office.
• (ii) Familiarity with Naval warship machinery and equipment.

(V) (a) Name of Post : Section Officer (General Central Service, Group ''B'', Gazetted, Ministerial) in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-.

(b) No. and Place of Posting: (06)*, Frazerganj, Krishnapatnam, Hut Bay, Mundra, Minicoy & Karaikal 

(c) Eligibility:

Officers under the Central Government:-

• (A) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the Parent cadre/ department; OR
• (ii) With five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- in the parent cadre or department; AND

(B) Possessing three years experience in administration, establishment and accounts matters.

(VI) (a) Name of Post : Legal Assistant (General Central Service, ‘Group ''B'', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

(c) Eligibility

For Deputation (including short term contract) Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory administration or Universities or recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or statutory or autonomous organisations:-

• (A) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
• (ii) With five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300 - 34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- in the parent cadre or department; AND

(B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-

• (i) Degree in Law from a recognised university;
• (ii) Two years experience as a Qualified Legal Practitioner.

Note: The term "Qualified Legal Practitioner" in relation to this clause means an Advocate or a Pleader who has practiced as such for atleast two years and should have dealt with cases relating to service laws.

For Armed Forces Personnel: Deputation/Re-employment:

The Armed Forces personnel holding the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer or Chief Petty Officer in the Army, Navy or Air Forces in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 plus grade pay of Rs. 4200/- and possessing degree in law from a recognised University who are due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year shall also be considered and if selected, such officers will be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment terms. In case such eligible officers have retired or have been transferred to reserve before the actual selection to the post is made, their appointment will be on re-employment basis. (Re-employment upto the age of superannuation in respect of civil post).

(VII) (a) Name of Post : Technical Officer (General Central Service, Group ''A'', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-275-13500 (revised pay in PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400).

(b) No. and Place of Posting: (02)*, New Delhi & Vizag 

(c) Eligibility

Officers under the Central Government:-

• (A) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
• (ii) With two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay scale of Rs. 7500-12000 (revised pay in PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4800) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; OR
• (iii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay scale of Rs. 6500- 10500 (revised pay in PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; AND

(B) Possessing Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Marine or Telecommunication or Industrial Engineering or Naval Architecture from a recognised University or Institution.

For Armed Forces Personnel: Deputation or Re-employment:

Armed Forces personnel of the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer or equivalent in the appropriate Technical branch of the Army, Navy or Air Force and possessing the educational qualifications as indicated above and is due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year shall also be considered. (VIII) (a) Name of Post : Personal Assistants (PA) (General Central Service, Group ''B'', Non-Gazetted, Ministerial) in PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200).

(b) No. and Place of Posting: (18)*, Kolkata (05), Vadinar (01), Haldia(02), Tuticorin(01), Gandhinagar(05), Okha (01), Surat(01), Goa(01) & Daman (01) 

(c) Eligibility

Officers under the Central Government;

• A.(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis;  OR
• (ii) With ten years regular service in the scale of pay of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- in Pay Band-1 or equivalent after appointment thereto on regular basis; AND

B. Possessing the following educational qualification and skill;-

• (i) 12th pass from a recognised Board or Institute; and
• (ii) Skill test Norms:
  Dictation: 10 Minutes @ 100 wpm
  Transcription: 50 Minutes (English) or 65 Minutes (Hindi) (on computer)

(IX) (a) Name of Post : Upper Division Clerks (General Central Service, Group ''C'', Non-Gazetted, Ministerial) in PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400).

(b) No. and Place of Posting: (20)*, New Delhi (* Subject to Change).

(c) Eligibility

(i) Officers of the Central Government holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR

• (ii) With eight years regular service in Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-. Experience in Armed Forces Headquarters is desirable.

2. The departmental Officers in the feeder grade who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

3. For purposes of appointment on deputation basis, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to 1st January, 2006 or the date from which the revised pay structure based on the 6th CPC recommendations has been extended shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the Pay Commission except where there has been merger of more than one pre-revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade pay/pay scale and where this benefits will extend only for the post(s) for which that Grade Pay or Pay Scale is the normal replacement grade without any upgradation.

4. The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The officers selected will be governed by instructions contained in DOP&T OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17th June, 2010 as amended from time to time. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be, not exceeding 56 years, as on the closing date of receipt of applications. 

5. Applications in the prescribed proforma alongwith the complete and upto-date ACR/APAR dossiers (or attested photocopies of the ACRs/APAR for the last 5 years) in respect of the officers who could be spared in the event of selection may be sent to Directorate of Personnel, {SCSO(CP)} Coast Guard Headquarters, National Stadium Complex, New Delhi-110001 within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Applications received after the last date or without the ACRs/APAR as stated above or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. While forwarding the applications certificate appended to bio-data may be verified.
