Advertisement for the Post of Junior Research Fellow in SERB funded project

Applications are invited for a JRF to work on Science and Engineering Research Board funded project.

Project Title: “Layered Chalcogenide Nanocomposites for Thermoelectric Applications”. The research project aims to develop the nanocomposites of chalcogenide thermoelectric materials.

Funding Agency : Science and Engineering Research Board, Govt. of India.

Duration : (36 Months) The appointment will be made initially for a period of one year, but the tenure is extendable up to three years or may be converted for a regular PhD position depending on performance.

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- p.m. for first two years and Rs. 28,000/-p.m. from third year onward.

Minimum Qualification : M. Sc. or M. Tech. or equivalent degree in Physics or Material Sciences with minimum 55% marks (CGPA >6.5). Candidate with NET (JRF)/GATE/equivalent test will be preferred.

Age Limit : The upper age limit for candidate shall be 28 years.
