MPEDA (Marine Products Export Development Authority) has invited applications from skilled and qualified job aspirants for the position of Junior Technical Officer(Export Promotion), Field Supervisor, Junior Clerk, Electrical Operator, Multitasking Assistant(Field Assistant). There are 45 vacant positions required to be filled at the present moment. Eligible aspirants can apply online for the concerned posts latest by 31st of March, 2016. 1. Junior Laboratory Analyst : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- +GP Rs. 2400/-
2. Field Supervisor : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- +GP Rs. 2400/-
3. Junior Clerk : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- +GP Rs. 1900/-
4. Electrical Operator : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- +GP Rs. 1900/-
5. Multitasking Assistant(Field Assistant) : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- +GP Rs. 1800/-

Educational and other qualification required for the post:

1. Junior Laboratory Analyst

Essential : Bachelor Degree In Chemistry or Fisheries or Bachelor Degree with Chemistry as a subject with 3 years experience In a laboratory undertaking chemical analysis of seafood, food items, feed or raw material for these products.

2. Field Supervisor

Essential : Bachelor Degree In Mariculture/ Aquaculture / Fishery Science / Zoology/ Marine Biology / Ocean Life Science / industrial Fisheries with three years experience In Aquaculture.

Desirable:

• (1) Post Graduate In Mariculture / Aquaculture 
• (2) Experience in Aquaculture or Aquaculture Research

3. Junior Clerk

Essential : Bachelor Degree with Computer proficiency In Word Processing with a speed of 9,000 Key depression per hour and Spread sheet (Excel) from a recognized Board of Technical Education.

Desirable : A speed of 30 w.p.m In English Typewriting.

4. Electrical Operator

Essential:

• (I) SSLC and m Electrical Trade Certificate with 3 years experience in repairing and maintenance of electrical Installations after qualifying 08' 
• (II) Diploma In electrical Engineering with 1 year experience in repairing and maintenance of electrical Installations after qualifying.

5. Multitasking Assistant(Field Assistant)

Essential : 10th Std. pass with 2 years experience In Aquaculture

Age limit as on 31 .03.201 6 :28 years

Application fee : 250/- (non-refundable) In the form of Demand Draft drawn In favour of The Secretary, MPEDA‘.’ payable at Ernakulam should be sent along with the print out of online application. No application fee is required In the case of SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen candidates and employees of MPEDA and its Societies. 

Age Relaxation : Age reaxable by 7 years in the case of existing employees of MPEDA and the Societies working under the direct control of MPEDA and applying for the post provided they have the required educational qualification and experience prescribed for direct recruitment.

How to Apply

Eligible aspirants can apply online for the concerned posts by visiting the official web portal of Marine Products Export Development Authority : www.mpeda.gov.in . Applicants must select the appropriate link and fill the online application form for the desired position. Applicants must also upload soft copy of necessary documents and make payment of the application fee. Now, the applicants must submit the online application form and then take print out of the same. Print out of the application must be sent along with the Demand Draft to the address given in the official notification.

General conditions

• I. Candidates employed in Govt. /Semi-Govt./Public Sector Undertaking should send their applications through proper channel. However advance copies of applications can be sent directly.
• II. The upper age limit prescribed for the post is relaxable by a maximum of 7 years in the case of employees of MPEDA / Societies working under the direct control of MPEDA. In the case of OBC/SC/ST/PH/HH/Ex-servicemen candidates upper age is relaxable as per rule 
• III. Experience in the requisite discipline/field only will be considered.
• IV. If selected, the recruits are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
