1. Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navratna and India’s premier professional Electronics Company requires Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science Engineers on contract basis for a period of two years for its Machilipatnam Unit.

a) Contract Engineer – Electronics
  • Number of posts: 6 (Six)
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed fulltime B.E / B.Tech in Electronics / Electronics & Communications / Electronics & telecommunications / Communication / Telecommunication from a recognised institute. General / OBC candidates should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks. SC / ST / PWD candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks.
  • Age limit: Upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.04.2016.
  • Remuneration: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 21,000/- per month.
  • Period of contract: Two years from the date of joining. However, the same may be extended depending on the progress of the project, performance of the candidate and at the discretion of BEL.
  • Experience: Minimum one year post qualification experience in design, testing and trouble shooting of analog and digital components. Should have hands-on experience in programming microcontrollers, using assembly language and C / C++. Knowledge in embedded system design and FPGA programming using VHDL. Should have skills in design of test panels / test jigs and testing of electronic PCB assemblies. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in the field of optics / electro-optics.
b) Contract Engineer – Mechanical
  • Number of posts: 6 (Six)
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed fulltime B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical from a recognised institute. General / OBC candidates should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks. SC /ST / PWD candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks.
  • Age limit: Upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.04.2016.
  • Remuneration: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 21,000/- per month.
  • Period of contract: Two years from the date of joining. However, the same may be extended depending on the progress of the project, performance of the candidate and at the discretion of BEL. 
  • Experience: One year post qualification experience in design of different types of mechanical modules, sub-systems and enclosures. Should have expertise in using AutoCAD and 3D modelling software such as Inventor and SolidWorks. Should have knowledge in fabrication / machining and assembly of mechanical parts. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in the field of optics / electro-optics.
c) Contract Engineer - Computer Science
  • Number of posts: 2 (Two)
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed fulltime B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science from a recognised institute. General / OBC  candidates should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks. SC / ST / PWD candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks. 
  • Age limit: Upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.04.2016.
  • Remuneration: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 21,000/- per month.
  • Period of contract: Two years from the date of joining. However, the same may be extended depending on the progress of the project, performance of the candidate and at the discretion of BEL. 
  • Experience: One year post qualification experience in programming using visual Studio (VC++), DOT Net (VB.Net), C, C++, etc. Should have knowledge about software documentation (hands-on experience is desirable).
2. Age relaxation:

For all the posts, age relaxation for the Reserved categories will be applicable as follows:-
  • SC / ST : 5 years
  • OBC : 3 years
  • PWD : 10 years
  • SC / ST+PWD : 15 years
  • OBC+PWD : 13 years
3. Mode of selection:
  • Selection will be through written test and interview.
  • Call letters will be sent to the e-mail IDs of eligible candidates for attending the written test.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on their performance in written test.
  • Date of the written test will be intimated by e-mail in due course. The written test will consist of objective type questions from engineering subjects in respective disciplines / specializations.
4. General conditions
  • Only Indian nationals need to apply.
  • Candidates, who have not completed B.E / B.Tech need not to apply.
  • The number of posts indicated above may vary based on the actual requirement at the time of selection. Applications that are incomplete, not in the prescribed format, not legible, without the required enclosures will be summarily rejected without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. There will be no separate communication to any candidates on their non-selection at any stage.
  • Reservation for the reserved categories will be applicable as per Govt. Guidelines. 
  • Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail ID which is to be entered in the application form. Information pertaining to the written test will be sent to the shortlisted candidates only by e- mail to the e-mail ID which is furnished in the application. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidate. All correspondence will be through e-mail only. 
  • BEL reserves the right to debar the candidate at any stage of selection process, if the candidature is not found suitable.
  • Candidates claiming to be belonging to SC / ST category are required to submit the caste certificate in the prescribed proforma (available in Company’s website www.bel-india.com) issued by the prescribed authority along with the application. Caste certificate in any other proforma or issued by an authority other than the prescribed authority will not be accepted.
  • Candidates claiming to be belonging to OBC category are required to submit the latest caste certificate in the prescribed proforma (available in Company’s website www.bel-india.com) issued by the prescribed authority along with the application. Caste certificate in any other proforma or issued by an authority other than the prescribed authority will not be accepted.
  • Candidates with relevant disability of not less than 40 per cent only will be eligible for reservation and relaxation as PWD. PWD candidates are required to submit Disability Certificate issued by the Medical Board in the prescribed format (available in Company’s website www.bel-india.com) along with the application. 
  • Outstation SC / ST / PWD candidates will be reimbursed to and from train / bus fare limited to II class rail fare by the shortest route for attending the written test as per rules of the company with in India only. These candidates are required to submit proof of journey undertaken for reimbursement.
  • In case any University / Institute following an evaluation system of CGPA / DGPA / OGPA or letter grade, the candidate, wherever applicable, should submit percentage (%) conversion certificate issued by university / institution along with the application.
  • Candidates with higher qualification than the mentioned essential qualification need not to apply. 
  • Candidates desirous of seeking employment with BEL need to be medically fit as per Company’s pre-employment medical standards. 
  • Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification. BEL reserves the right to debar / disqualify any candidates at any stage of the selection process for any reason whatsoever.
  • Mere applying for the post shall not be deemed as selection.
5. Interested candidates may send the prescribed application available on the Company’s website (www.bel-india.com), through ordinary post, super-scribing on the envelope the name of the post applied for along with following self-attested documents:
  • a) Certificate / Marks Sheet issued by Board for Matriculation / Higher Secondary in support of proof of age.
  • b) All certificates (starting from Matriculation / Class X) in support of educational qualifications. (Candidates having part-time or correspondence course in prescribed qualification are not eligible).
  • c) Conversion formula for conversion of CGPA / DGPA / OGPA or letter grade to percentage, duly certified by the University / Institution, wherever applicable. 
  • d) Caste certificate if the candidate belongs to SC / ST / OBC.
  • e) Disability certificate if the candidate belongs to PWD category.
  • f) No objection certificate if employed in Government / Quasi Government and Public Sector undertakings.
  • g) Experience certificate from the present employer. 
  • h) Two passport size photos. 
6. Duly filled in application along with the above said documents should be sent to Deputy Manager (HR), Bharat Electronics Limited, Post Box No.26, Ravindranath Tagore Road, Machilipatnam- 521 001, Andhra Pradesh on or before 23.04.2016. Applications received after the closing date / without the above said enclosures will be summarily rejected.
