National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur invites applications from Indian Nationals for faculty positions in . the following Departments/ Centres as per vacancies position shown in the table below:-

OTHER CONDITIONS :-
1. The relevant qualification and experience is based upon Recruitment Rules notified by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi vide letter No.F.No.33-9/2011- TS.III dated 15th January, 2014 under four tier flexible faculty structure and subsequent change in RRs, if any, notified by the MHRD shall be applicable at the time of shortlisting/ selection process.
2. The application in the prescribed format complete in all respects should be sent by Registered Post/Speed Post to the REGISTRAR, NIT, HAMIRPUR (HP) 177 005 so as to reach within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the EMPLOYMENT NEWS.
3. The applications received after the due date will not be considered and rejected straight way.
4. Application forms received without copies of certificates/supporting documents will be summarily rejected.
5. All degrees must be preferably from reputed institutions or University departments in India or abroad.
6. The Institute has the right to set higher norms than the minimum prescribed norms. The names of short listed for interview shall be displayed on the Institute website. The applicants are required to visit the Institute website regularly
7. All qualifications and Experience will be considered as on closing date i.e the Last date for receipt of application form.
8. Persons serving in Government and Semi-Government organizations must send their applications complete in all respect through proper channel by speed post or Registered post. However, an advance copy of the same may be submitted before last date of receipt of application. However, they are required to submit NOC at the time of appearing for interview.
9. The original documents/ certificates will have to be produced at the time of interviews for verification.
10. Higher starting pay and / or AGP may be offered to deserving candidates on recommendations of the Selection Committee.
11. Faculty, who are appointed on contractual basis, shall be for a fixed period as per Statutes /MHRD norms.
12.Pay 86 Allowances will be as applicable to Central Government employees at Hamirpur.
l3.Mere fulfillment of minimum qualification does not entitle any candidate to be called for interview. A short listing criterion may be set higher than the minimum prescribed. The screening committee shall shortlist the eligible 81. most desirable candidates to be called for interview from amongst the applicants based upon their specialization and actual requirement of departments.
14.No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from the candidates regarding postal delays, conduct of interview and reasons for not being called for interview or selection etc.
15. Canvassing in any form will lead to rejection of application form.
16. No request for change of schedule of the interview shall be entertained.
17.In the event of selection, the appointment letter to in service candidates will be issued only after getting the vigilance 85 integrity clearance certificate from the concerned competent authority.
18.The selected candidates will be provided accommodation in the campus subject to availability.

1. The applications of candidates belonging to Open category must be accompanied by non refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/ - in the shape of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, NIT Hamirpur payable at Hamirpur (HP)- 177005
Please note that there is no processing fee for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
2. Interested candidates may apply on prescribed application form, which may be downloaded from the institute website www.nith.ac.in.
3. Application forms complete in all respects along with attested copies of certificates, list of publications, reprints/preprints of latest publications etc. should reach the office of the Registrar, NIT Hamirpur (HP) on or before the last date of receipt of the application. Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.
4. Candidates are advised to supply attested copies of their documents in support of eligibility for AGP/POST alongwith full justification.

5. Certificate of SC /ST/ OBC /PWD cateogory should be only on the prescribed proforma only issued by the competent authority as per Act / Orders of Government under which the same is recognized as SC / ST/ OBC/PWD.
