Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR) is an Autonomous Institution under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. It is one of the premier Institute of its kind in the Country and the main objectives of the Institute are Human Resource Development to undertake, sponsor or co-ordinate training of personnel such as Doctors, Engineers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Multipurpose Rehabilitation Therapists and such other personnel for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities. Institute conducts short term/long term courses in the field which are affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. The Institute has been setup to serve the differently able persons to undertake any action in the area of rehabilitation of the Persons with Disabilities and is facilitated with 100 bedded hospital to treat the needy, poor and disabled section of the society.
SVNIRTAR is looking for dedicated persons with drive, willingness, missionary zeal and commitment for the following posts to be filled up on direct recruitment.

(1) Administrative Officer
Age Limit : Below 40 years
Educational Qualification & Experience : i. Degree from a recognized University. ii. Postgraduate qualification in Business Management/ Personnel Management will be preferred. iii. 5 years experience in the Administrative Department of the Government/Public Sector Undertaking in a supervisory capacity
Pay Scale : PB- Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay: Rs.5400/
(2)Assistant Director (Official Language)

Age Limit : 35 years
Educational Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level. OR Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level. OR Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with English & Hindi as a subject at the degree level. OR Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a subject at the degree level OR 5 years experience of terminological work in Hindi and or translation work from English to Hindi or vice versa, preferable of technical or scientific literature. OR 5 years experience of teaching/research, writing or journalism in Hindi.

(3) Staff Nurse

Educational Qualification & Experience : B. Sc .Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery and Registered with of the State Nurses Registration Councils of India. Desirable- Experience in Orthopedic Nursing.
Pay Scale : PB- Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-.
(4) Radiographer, Grade-II

Educational Qualification & Experience : i. Matriculation + 3 years Diploma in Radiography.
ii. Experience as radiographer preferably in Orthopedic Department.

Other Terms: Selected candidates will be initially posted at SVNIRTAR, Olatpur, Cuttack, Orissa. However, they are liable to be transferred to anywhere in India. The date for determining age limit will be the last date of receipt of the application. The post carries other allowances as per rules of Central Government. Other benefits including LTC, Medical Reimbursement etc. will be admissible as per Govt. of India Rules. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC & PH will be as per Govt. of India rules.
