Essential Qualification & Experience:
Qualification :  Any recognized degree with Post Graduate degree /MBA/equivalent qualification from a recognized National /International University.

Experience :  10 years experience in the area of Business Development and Trade Promotion in a service sector / Public sector / Private sector entity.

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

Qualification :  Professional qualification from Institute of Chartered Ship brokers or Institute of Chartered logistics and transport (member, fellow or associate of the institute obtained after passing prescribed examinations .Not honorary membership)

Experience :  Experience in Port / Shipping Sector.

2. Senior Manger 

Pay scale : 32900-58000/-

Essential Qualification & Experience:

Qualification :  Any recognized degree with Post Graduate degree /MBA/equivalent qualification from a recognized National /International University.

Experience : 7 years experience in the area of Business Development and Trade Promotion in a service sector / Public sector / Private sector entity.

Desirable Qualification and Experience :

(I) Chief Manager :

Qualification : Master degree in Business administration (MBA/PGDM) or equivalent from a recognized University / Institution

Experience : 10 years work experience in Planning and Project implementation.

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

Qualification : Post Graduate degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized National /International University.
Post Graduate Diploma in Finance /Project Management.
Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Research

Experience : Experience in Port/Shipping Sector/Infrastructure. Should possess skills and ability in Project Management and proficiency in the use of computers.

(2) Senior Manager:

Qualification Degree in Law from a recognized National/International University.

Experience15 years work experience in legal wing of Corporates. Proven track record in contract negotiation and drafting.

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

Qualification
: Master’s degree in Corporate / Maritime Law from a recognized  National/ International University.

Experience : Experience in Port / Shipping Sector/Infrastructure.  Practicing experience as an Advocate.

(2) Senior Manager 

Pay Scale : Rs.32900-58000/-

Essential Qualification & Experience:

Qualification
: Degree in Law from a recognized National/ International University.

Experience
: 10 years work experience in legal wing of Corporates. Proven track record in contract negotiation and drafting.

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

QualificationMaster’s Degree in Corporate/ Maritime Law from a recognized National/  International University.

Experience : Experience in Port/ Shipping Sector/ Infrastructure Practicing experience as an Advocate

Qualification : A Post Graduate Degree in Environmental sciences/ Environmental Engineering or Environmental law from a recognized National/International University.

Experience : 10 years of experience in Environmental Assessment/Regulations.

Desirable Qualification and Experience:
Qualification : Post Graduate Diploma in Safety Engineering/Industrial Health

Experience
: Experience in Port/Shipping Sector/Infrastructure/Heavy Engineering  Must have broad knowledge in training and direct experience in interpreting and navigating environmental regulations and issues encompassing local, state and federal regulatory requirements and permit processes.

(2) Senior Manager(Safety) 

Pay Scale : Rs. 2900-58000/-

Essential Qualification & Experience:-

Qualification
: Post graduate degree in Safety Engineering (or) Equivalent from a recognized National / International University.

Experience : 7 years of work experience in Industrial/Marine Safety.

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

Qualification
: Post Graduate Diploma in safety Engineering /Industrial Health

Experience : Experience in Port/Shipping Sector/Infrastructure/Heavy Engineering

(3) Manager (Environment)

Pay Scale : Rs. 29100-54500/-

Essential Qualification & Experience:

Qualifications : Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science/ Environmental Engineering from a recognized National/International University.

Experience : 5 years of work experience in Environmental Assessment and Regulations.

Desirable Qualification and Experience:-

Qualification : Post Graduate Diploma in Safety Engineering/Industrial Health

Experience : Experience in Port/Shipping Sector/Infrastructure/Heavy Engineering Must have broad knowledge in training and direct experience in interpreting and navigating environmental regulations and issues encompassing local, state and federal regulatory requirements and permit processes

General instructions :
  1. Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of any reason whatsoever.

Other Terms and conditions of contractual engagement :
  1. Period of contract : The contract will be for a period of 3 years, extendable by another 2 years.
  2. Medical facility: Emergency medical treatment will be provided in case of accident while on duty at MbPT hospital/ dispensary. No other medical facilities would be available to the contractual employee and his family.
  3. Leave entitlement: 10 days Casual Leave in a year and National Holidays. No other leave will be admissible and for any absence beyond the said leave, pro-rata deduction will be made from the consolidated remuneration. 
  4. Duty hours: Duty hours are from 10.30 A.M. to 5.30 P.M. or as decided by the Administration. In case of requirement, you may have to work beyond the normal duty hours for which there will not any other compensation, monetary or otherwise. Normally will be entitled to a weekly off (Sunday). If situation warrants, the weekly day of rest may be changed with prior intimation. For work on any weekly day off/ declared national holiday in exigencies of work, a compensatory day of rest conveniently in lieu thereof will be granted and for which no other compensation, monetary or otherwise will be considered.Failure to report for duty will entail deduction of wages on pro-rata basis.
  5. Accommodation: No accommodation shall be provided by Mumbai Port Trust.
  6. The contract can be terminated by giving one month’s notice in writing from either side.
  7. If the contractual employee leaves without notice or acceptance of notice of termination, the amount due, i.e., consolidated pay payable will be forfeited.
  8. The contractual employee shall not claim any right/ title/ interest at par with the regular employees of the Port on similar post doing similar work. 
  9. Appointment of the contractual employee is subject to verification of antecedents by the Police. If any adverse report is received from the Police, his services are liable to be terminated forthwith.
  10. Any other terms and conditions of contractual engagement at MbPT will be applicable.
Method of Selection :

(i) 90% weightage will be given to qualification and experience of candidates and 10% weightage on performance in interview.

(ii) Depending upon the response, the administration reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview. A ratio of 1:3 may be followed with regard to vacancies and candidates called for interview.
