- Software Engineer : Rs.25,000/- (fixed) (Contractual)
1) Lady Medical Officer, G.U. Hospital:
Essential Qualification & Experience: Candidates must be MBBS from a recognized University with Hospital Experience in Gynaecology and Maternity work.
Age: Candidates should not be above 36 years as on 01.05.2016. In case of SC/ST candidates, there
will be an age relaxation of 5 years.
N.B.: Selected candidate will be required to reside in the University Campus at Jalukbari.
2) Software Engineer (Contractual):
Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and at least 3 years industry experience as software engineer in domains like AngularJS, Nodejs, Laravel, MongoDB, PHP, HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript etc.
Job Responsibilities: Development and maintenance of web based services and online applications, Development and maintenance of data analytics and services applications.
Age: Candidates should not be above 36 years as on 01.05.2016. In case of SC/ST candidates, there will be an age relaxation of 5 years.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFORMATION
(i) Application Form: Prescribed application form, the details of qualifications & other are available in the University website- www.gauhati.ac.in The candidates may download the application form from the above website.
(ii) Application fee & Last Date: Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only and in case of SC/ST Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only by Demand Draft in favour of the “Registrar, Gauhati University” payable at SBI, G.U. Branch as an application fee for the posts. Completed applications in the prescribed form along with necessary enclosures must reach “The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-14” latest by 12th May, 2016. Two copies of application with all testimonials are needed to be submitted. The envelope containing the application form must indicate the name of the post & advertisement no.
(iii) Those in employment should submit their applications through proper channel or may submit a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the employer.
(iv) Attested copies of Marks Sheets, Birth Certificate, Educational Certificates and Experience Certificates etc. must be attached to the application. Incomplete applications without relevant enclosure will be out rightly rejected.
(v) The University will not be responsible for late/non receipt of call letters for test/interview due to postal delay
(vi) The University reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post at any time without assigning any reason. The right is also reserved with the University either to fill or not to fill the post and its decision in this regard shall be final.
(vii) Candidates will have to appear before the Selection Committee for an interview at their own cost when called for. Mere fulfillment of academic qualifications will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
