Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Ltd., on behalf of its subsidiary companies namely North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (NBPDCL), South Bihar Power Distribution Ltd. (SBPDCL), Bihar State Power Transmission Company Ltd. (BSPTCL) & Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) has invited On-line Application from eligible candidates for appointment on the post of Junior Electrical Engineer (General), Junior Engineer(Mechanical) (For BSPGCL) and Junior Engineer (Electronics)(For BSPGCL) for its Head Offices and Field Offices. Pay Scale :  Rs. 22500- 42500/-

Disciplines wise Vacancies : 

1. Electrical : 450 Posts
2. Mechanical : 22 Posts
3. Electronics : 09 Posts

Age Limit: 18 to 37 years (As on 01.08.2016)

Age Relaxation :

• For SC/ST Candidates : 5 years
• For BC/EBC/Female (UR) Candidates : 3 years
• For PWD Candidates : 10 years

Educational Qualification:

1.1 JUNIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (GENERAL) :- Full time 3 years Diploma in Electrical from a recognized Institute/ College duly recognized by State Govt./ Central Govt.

                                             Or

Full time 4 years BE/B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics from a recognized University/ Institute approved by AICTE.

1.2 JUNIOR ENGINEER (Mechanical) :- Full time 3 years Diploma in Mechanical from a recognized Institute/ College duly recognized by State Govt./ Central Govt.

                                                  Or

Full time 4 years BE/B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) Degree in Mechanical from a recognizedUniversity/  nstitute approved by AICTE.

1.3 JUNIOR ENGINEER (Electronics) :- Full time 3 years Diploma in Electronics from a recognized Institute/ College duly recognized by State Govt./ Central Govt.

                                                    Or

Full time 4 years BE/B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) Degree in Electronics from a recognized University/ Institute approved by AICTE.

PROBATION PERIOD : 

The probation period shall be 3 years from the date of appointment. If during probation period, the performance is not found satisfactory, the services shall be terminated.

Application fee: 

Application fee is Rs. 1500 /- (Rs. One thousand five hundred) only for all categories except SC/ ST of Bihar domicile and PHP(Divyang) for whom it will be Rs. 375 (Rs. Three hundred seventy five) only. 

Selection Process: 

Candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the ‘Written Test’. The minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be 40% for UR, 36.5% for BC, 34% for EBC & 32% for SC/ST/ Female candidates

How to Apply: The applicants are to apply through "ON LINE" on the Website of www.bsphcl.bih.nic.in. The Website will be open from 15/09/2016. After filling up the ON-LINE application; Candidates have to take a print out of the same.
