Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for direct selection to the following scientific position in ICAR and its Institutes.

I. Principal Scientist (PS) (51 positions at Item Nos. 69-114 of the detailed advertisement) in the minimum pay of `43000/- in the Pay Band-4 of `37400-`67000 + RGP of `10000/-.

Name of the Post: Principal Scientist

No. of post ; 51 posts

Pay Band-4 of 37400-67000 + Grade Pay -10000/- ( with minimum pay of 43000/-) in 46 disciplines/locations at different ICAR Institutes.

Age Limit:
(i) The candidates must not have attained the age of 52 years as on 20.12.2016.
(ii) The retirement age of scientific personnel in the service of the Council is 62 years.
(iii) There shall be no age limit for Council’s employees.

Educational Qualification: See Notification

Fee- 

The fee should be paid as under and should be enclosed with the application form :-

(i) For candidates applying within the country:- Crossed Demand Draft for `500/-, valid for 3(three) months and drawn in favour of SECRETARY,ASRB payable at New Delhi (India). However, the SC/ST/Women/Physically Handicapped (PH) applicants/candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

(ii) For the applicants/candidates applying from abroad, the application fee of US $ 50 should be deposited in the following account through “SWIFT”

Last Date for Receipt of Application:  

The closing date for receipt of applications in ASRB is 20.12.2016. For applications posted from abroad/notified remote areas, the closing date will be 04.01.2017. The application(s) not received in ASRB by the above prescribed closing date(s) shall be summarily rejected, without any notice.
