BSF Vacancy 2016 Details
Total No. of Posts: 157 posts
Name of the post - Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer)
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- -Rs.20200/- + GP
Age Limit:
Applicants should have minimum of 18 years and maximum of 25 years as on 01-01-2017. There is age relaxation for reserved categories persons as per the govt rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have completed Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination from Recognized Board or University or equivalent with Shorthand Speed 80 wpm in English or in Hindi for 10 Minutes. Transcription of Dictation in English in 50 Minutes on Computer (or) Transcription of Dictation in Hindi in 65 Minutes on Computer for Post(1), Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination with Typing with Minimum Speed of 35 wpm in English (or) 30 wpm in Hindi Corresponding to 10500 KDPM in English/9000 KDPM in Hindi with Average of key Depressions for Each Word on Computer for Post(2). Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Examination, Physical Measurement Test, Shorthand Speed Test, Typing Speed Test, Documentation followed by Medical Examination conducted by Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF).
