Age Limit : 18 to 25 years as on closing date for receipt of applications.

Educational Qualification : For posts at Sl- 1 to 15

(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Institute or Board with knowledge of English. 

(b) Should have completed Apprenticeship Training in the relevant trade and holding National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by National Council of Vocational training.

(c) Other qualifications being equal, preference will be given to ex-apprentices of Dockyard Apprentice Schools of the Indian Navy OR 

Mechanic or Equivalent with two years regular service in the appropriate technical branch of the Army Navy and Air Force.

Note : Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of Appointing Authority in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified

Educational Qualification : For posts at Sl- 16 to 23

(a) Matriculation or equivalent from. a recognised Institute or Board with knowledge of English.

(b) Should have completed Apprenticeship.Training in the Trade at Dockyard Apprentice School of Indian Navy and holding National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by National Council of Vocational training. OR

Mechanic or Equivalent with two years regular service in the appropriate technical branch of the Army, Navy' and Air Force. 

Note : Qualifications are-relaxable at the discretion of Appointing Authority in, the case of candidates otherwise well qualified:

Educational Qualification : For posts at Sl-  24

(a) 10th standard pass from a recognized Board/lnstitute

(b) A competitive qualifying test will be conducted to assess suitability for the post before appointment are made.

Pay Scale : For posts at Sl- 1 to 23  Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade Pay- 1900/- (PB-1)

Pay Scale : For posts at Sl- 24  Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade Pay- 1800/- (PB-1)
