a. The Trade Apprentices of Heavy Vehicles Factory, Avadi and sister Ordnance Factories applying for Industrial Employee posts would also be required to apply ONLINE only.
b. The candidates have to submit a single online application for the following trades. While filling the
online application, candidates must give their choice of trade in the order of preference among the options. Candidates will be considered based on merit-cum-choice.

c. Candidates intending to apply for Industrial Employee posts, Lower Division. Clerk and Store Keeper may do so by submitting separate applications. However, the applicants are advised to submit only one single Online Recruitment Application for each post. In other words, the candidates should not submit duplicate online applications for the same post.
AGE LIMIT: As on closing date of application, the age limit for General candidates shall be from 18 to 32 years for Industrial Cadre (IE3) and 18 to 27 years for Non-Industrial Cadre’(NlEs). For other categories, Age Relaxation shall be applicable as per the existing government instructions.
Age Limit : 18 - 32 years for Industrial Cadre (IEs) and 18 - 27 years for (Non-Industrial Cadre (NIEs) as on the closing date of application. Age relaxations applicable as per norms.
Pay Scale :
- Industrial Cadre (IEs)- Rs.5200-20200/- and Grade pay of Rs. 1800/-
- Non-Industrial Cadre (NlEs)- Rs.5200-20200/- and Grade pay of Rs.1900/-
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
(a) Industrial Cadre : The requisite Educational Qualification is Matriculation + National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)/National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council of Trades for Vocational Training (NCVT).
- (i) For the posts of Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Electrician, Fitter Electronics, Electroplater and Painter: NAC/NTC issued by NCVT in the relevant trade.
- (ii) For the posts of Fitter AFV: NAC/NTC issued by NCVT in the trade of Fitter.
- (iii) For the posts of Examiner: NAC/NTC issued by NCVT in the, trades of Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Electrician, Fitter Electronics.
(b) For Lower Division Clerk and Storekeeper : 12th class or equivalent qualification;
APPLICATION FEES:
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) as Application Fees for both Industrial Cadre and Non-Industrial Cadre through SBI Collect portal. SC/ST / Ex-Serviceman/ Person with Disabilities / Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
5. HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates who wish to apply may visit the website- www.hvf.eadmissions.net. Candidates are advised to read carefully all the provisions/stipulations/conditions/ instructions contained in the detailed advertisement available in the website before proceeding to apply online.
IMPORTANT DATES :
(a) Date of opening of online application Last day of the week in which this advertisement appears in
Employment News (for e.g. if the advertisement is published in Employment News during the week of 10- 16 April 2016, then 16/04/2016 would be date'of opening of online application).
(b) Date of closing of online application 21 days from the date of Opening of online application.
(c) Last date for receipt of printout of online application form: 10 days from the date of closing of online applications. The printout of online applications received after 10 days will be summarily rejected.
